  • A great video guys. Some extra info. I got a nice shock on my birthday last year - I'm 60. A litacka (season ticket) is a THIRD of the price not half. Blew my mind. If you are between 60 and 65 and here for a week, get a monthly pass. It's 130kcs. Have a lovely day from an old piano player.

Τhis video is the most complete guide ,including the info for the 2 min delay need for the validation of a ticket!!!
  • @alexxxx9709
Thank you for this usefull information on the subject of buying tickets. The validation step is very difficult to understand for foreigners wo are not used to do it.

So much information! I guess i just need to make sure I always have 1000 on me at all times to pay the fine.

Don’t like them fining you when the machine is broken. Here in Seattle you get a free ride when that happens.😢 A very nice explanation.

Excellent video! Really saved me a lot of bother on my trip to Prague last week however I feel maybe Val contact the tourism agency for Prague and advise them this will put off a lot of tourists. I seen two lots of Chinese 🇨🇳 tourists being stung for 3000 Kc due to wrong passes! I think someone like you would have positive impact as tourists will aviod Prague it’s a lot of money for simple errors 😢

Regarding 7:00, you will see 'na znamení' on the sheet with the timetable. 'Zastavka na znamení' means request stop. If you see an X next to a tram stop name, that means it is a request stop. When on a tram, looking at where the next stop is displayed, watch out for a bell icon where the next stop is displayed. You will also hear the announcement 'zastavka je na znamení' when approaching a request stop.

    A little list for tourists from around the world: → 30 min / 30CZK = 1.19 EUR = 1.30 US$ = 1.02 GBP → 90 min / 40CZK = 1.59 EUR = 1.73 US$ = 1.35 GBP → 24 hrs / 120CZK = 4.76 EUR = 5.19 US$ = 4.07 GBP → 72 hrs / 330CZK = 13.09 EUR = 14.26US$ = 11.18GBP Of course, the amounts may vary slightly from day to day but this little list should work as a good reference for most of you! :)

Been to Prague a few times and visiting Prague again next week. Looking forward to it. I won't need to use transport when I visit. When I have used it, it is very good.
