Join me as we work our way through an upstairs, spare bedroom closet that we just never think about anymore!

Find me everywhere I am on the Internet here: timchilders.bio.link/.

I started this channel in order to document life as it gets lived. It's about where I live, how I live, where I travel, why I travel, and so much more. Eclectic is a good word for the content to be found here. I hope you will come along for the ride!

These decluttering videos show how important it is to consolidate all like items, so not to forget to use them.

Great job you’re doing there not just for your mom but for the younger generations too. They’ll thank you forever.

Watching decluttering videos is relaxing for me but also inspiring to go decluttering an area of my house.

You're such a good son to your mom! My brother would never help out as much as you help your mom even if she asked him!

The two camera setup in and outside of the closet was cool. :)

You're very blessed to still have your mom at 65, I'm 49, and my mom passed away last December, and I miss Har so much , she was my best friend. Thank you for your videos and content.

That was a fun and satisfying declutter. I only have a few things left to declutter. I enjoy decluttering so much!!!!!🎉🎉

It’s good to watch what you do with some of your “stuff”…….inspires me to make better decisions when I declutter.

This was good fun ! One of my favorite de-clutterings. Good to see all the phases, right up to carting it away in the car. I feel lighter !

Loving the verbalization of your thought process with each object. Probably why we defer the decision making of what to do with our "stuff"! SOME of us still do cassettes. My 1997 Dodge Dakota has a cassette player. And I still have cassette tapes that WORK!
  • You know you are the correct demographic for this channel if you have a framed Olin Mills portrait in the back of your closet. LOL. I wish I could be ruthless and get rid of mine as I have smaller versions that have also been scanned.
  • This was a very good video. We can all see that what we store is often deferred decisions. Plus, the older we all get, the more difficult it is to go through things and move them down stairs, etc. I'm really happy you are helping her.

I really enjoy your videos. I’m 57, my husband is 64. He retired a couple years ago and I’ve been on a quest to declutter. You’re very inspiring!

It’s amazing what can be hiding away in places we don’t frequent. I have a large walk in closet in my husband’s office. It’s a Mr Magoo closet. I have no idea what is in the far back reaches of this magical closet where things go to die. I’m motivated to get started on clearing it out. Thanks!

Thoughtful decluttering again Tim & a lovely little spare bedroom, for guests to use too! xo 😘

I wish I could declutter as ruthlessly as you. I have aspirations of being a minimalist but I can’t seem to let go. Have already let go of sooooo much over the last 5 years but still feel overwhelmed with what’s left.
