Someone needs to tell Alpha 1 that the F/A-18F being a Naval Fighter doesn't make it any more tolerant of being plunged into the ocean than an Air Force fighter.

You know what, it would be nice if they had matches that had an attacking team with ground targets or targets that the defending team has to defend. Give it mission structure you know

Fuck yes! An Ace Combat player who utilizes both air brake and rudder controls in a dogfight, knows when to shoot missiles, maneuvering to get a better kill angle, and knows when to disengage an enemy aircraft and switch target. It really grinds my gears to watch someone who has afterburner the entire match, instantly fires missile when he gets a lock, and who's on a tunnel vision on one bogey till he gets the kill. You just earned a well deserved sub, Ace.

I got kicked from a room after getting switching to my F-15C specced for special weapons using SASM's and getting first place in a Battle Royale room. The previous rounds I was using a Sukhoi with regular missiles and just getting last place. I think SASMs are a little too good; sure they might not do a whole lot of damage per missile but you can seriously rack up the points and win as an MVP by just getting hits alone.
