the car fight being filmed/choreographed almost like a sex scene was funny asf 😭

ngl the funniest joke in the movie was the post-credits scene because of how much emphasis they placed onto it earlier in the movie

This film was basically a tribute to my entire childhood dvd collection so it’s automatically a 10 for me
  • I was waiting for this video ever since the short Wolverine joke appeared on screen.
  • Seeing this movie might’ve been the most fun I’ve had at the theater in a while, it’s a blast
  • I’m literally just back from seeing it in the cinema so this video couldn’t come at a better time

I’m glad that Channing Tatum finally got closure on playing Gambit after his solo movie never got made, even if I was never into the idea of him in the role.

I mean this when I say this was the best opening to a movie, comic or otherwise, in years. I can’t begin to tell you how perfect of a choice using Bye Bye Bye was. Not only did the action sync up to the song, but the song perfectly personifies Deadpool

I take it back, the Honda Odyssey fucks HARD.
  • I won’t lie that end credit scene with the Fox era of marvel montage made me a little more emotional and teary eye than I thought a montage like that would do for me

I think this film could be best described as a final send-off to 20th Century Fox. Especially with the amount of fan service they have in here
  • The Nicepool interactions at the end had me rolling. "I think I got hit" as blood gushes from his mouth and multiple wounds and, "Healing factor?" As Deadpool stares him down silently. Absolutely peak.

I’m surprised that this wasn’t brought up, but halfway through the movie I said out loud to my friend “this movie feels like they watched all the cosmonaut reviews” because everything from the Wolverine costume to the short Wolverine appearance to the fight scenes to some of the jokes about the mcu just felt so directly pointed at every criticism he’s levied at the mcu in recent years

It was a fantastic experience. Really wacky cameos, fan service in the best way possible, and honestly? Pretty solid emotional beats. It takes a backseat but it's a Deadpool movie and I felt for the characters involved
  • I feel like Marvel has gotten all the cameos out of their system with this movie, I don’t see them bringing back someone like RDJ anytime soon

As someone who knew nothing about Cassandra Nova, I thought she was fucking amazing. I was so enthralled every time she was on screen. Emma Corrin did such an amazing job, and I sincerely wish she became the new main villain of the MCU. Then I the news came out about RDJ as Doctor Doom and I'm furious.

The whole movie can be summarized as “for the love of the game”

Logan was the serious send off to the Fox Xmen characters, and D&W felt like the funny send off to the Fox-verse
