Captain Democracy is a hero I can stand behind

Our 2 player coop first mission after the tutorial was a 12 minute emergency evacuate civilians bot mission. It dropped bots on us every 10ish seconds. No breathing room to figure out things like "the terminal" and "press button to call civvies" in the game. We just struggled to stay alive and not run out of all of our ammo, since the "reload after every kill" instinct from other games was not yet squashed. Took us a a few days to realize that the first mission after the tutorial hadn't been scripted to make new players auto-fail their first run. We just made the poorest choice possible. Bugs are easier if you have no idea what you are doing compared to bot. Bots are much easier if your team works together, uses cover and knows how to deal with each type of bot compared to bugs, since they behave more randomly and tend swarm and overwhelm you or one-shot players with invisible stalkers that come after you until you kill that specific nest.
