The therapist approached the situation really well. She didn’t immediately attack the mother, whilst still educating her about the damage she could have done.

Taking an overweight child (or someone with any age) to a dessert shop while they’re supposed to be on a diet is just cruel, rude, and impolite.
  • @p00f_01
taking someone that’s on a diet to a donut shop is pure evil
  • @VamprinaBelle
that guy at the end made me tear up. you can tell he's a great dad to his daughter.

it’s okay to want your child to lose weight when they’re unhealthy, but taking ur kid to a donut shop and watch their sibling eat a donut and literally pointing out their insecurities to other strangers is wrong

Body-shaming is one of the worst ways to hurt kids, teens or adults. Edit : For the mast time people! I've had enough of people saying "being fat is unhealthy" "you are damaging them" what I'm saying BODY SHAMING itself hurt not saying they should stay chubby and not go on a diet I'm on a diet myself just because it more healthy! stop coming at me for God sake

There’s nothing wrong with wanting your child to loose weight for health reasons, but you shouldn’t point out insecurities and not feed them.
  • I could really tell the first lady was a therapist! She approached mum with so much understanding and gentleness and handled the situation like the pro she is.

No one is going to talk about how the two sisters are called Nicole and Nicolette?

I know she’s an actor but I feel bad for the girl who was being called overweight🥺. I bet the woman playing the mom felt bad after this, even though she’s just acting.
  • that older guy was very smart because he knows he can’t actually do anything about the way the mother treats her, he still wanted to encourage her to keep being strong
  • it’s so cute seeing everyone stuck up for her it gives me hope in humanity :)

Body shaming causes: Eating disorders Depression Suicidal thoughts Suicide attempts Severe anxiety Sadness Self hate Lack of confidence And basically killing their personality. Dont do that to people.
  • I don’t have a problem with not giving your daughter donuts cause she’s on a diet but taking her to a donut shop so she can watch other people eat donuts is kinda cruel
  • I know this is an act but she’s still calling her fat like in real life 😢😢😢

I watched a video of a little girl who was at an unhealthy weight and her mom, instead of putting her down or telling her she needs to lose weight just cooked her healthier food and took her exercise at trampoline parks and playgrounds. She didn't even know she was losing weight she was just having fun. That's how it should be

This breaks my heart. As someone who was a chubby kid, with a skinnier sibling, and still struggles to keep my weight down, this hit home.
  • I understand where the mom is coming from, my cousin is 200 lbs at 7 years old., but my family would never ever tell her she’s fat, or bring her into a doughnut shop but tell her no doughnuts. In our situation we aren’t worried about her physical image, but her health and mobility.

A few months ago I weighed around 264lbs but have lost 82lbs, I know they are actors but this broke my heart and brought back tough memories for me. You can’t take a child to a sweet shop and tell her she can’t have a donut… that’s just cruel.
