If you forget things you already know, then it's because they are no longer important to you and aren't being used. This is SO true for me. I'm working on learning languages, creative writing, history and reading lots of books...but when I don't feel like one of them, I do another. Either way, I'm doing something more valuable than watching TV or playing some app game.
  • I think it's great to be passionate about learning many things at once, and it's equally as important to organize your learning as well!

Could you recommend some studies about this concept? What about the daily limit on learning? How do we know when we are spending too much time and taking in too much stimuli/information in a day? Some activities like doing difficult problems can be tiring for the brain, but what about things like sports, or playing an instrument? Where do we draw the line to be able to continue without burnout?

I LOVE this approach, thank you. Too many times I hear people say you need to focus on just one thing, when I have multiple interest! My problem is just finishing things. I do need to work on that and I’m still figuring out what direction I want to go in but I don’t like the idea of just doing one thing all the time. It just doesn’t resonate with me.
  • learning anything make you more effective at learning everything. Wow. Golden words. I know how to dance, to sing, to write songs, to play guitar, piano, bass and drums. and I speak 4 languages. I've always LOVED learning different things at a time and I've always believed I could. But lately I feel like I wanna learn to do business as well. My friends like, im just wasting my time. Because if I just do business, I'll never gonna be a pop star. I'm kinda convinced actually..... But like you said, if I'm interested in something new I should take advantage of it. yes, I should!!! This video actually reinforced the idea of me learning one more thing in my life!!!! Thank you so much !!!

I am learning two things at the same time 1.Graphic design 2.Music making/production Both are very complicated because in graphic design we have to work on so much software like AE, PR, DR, PS, AI And i learnt all the software But in music production you have to play to much instruments and work with thousands of plugins i am feeling like i have lost many years And now i am busy as never happened in my entire life I was a very careless person before 6 month i was spending all time on Instagram, movie and webshows, But believe me from when i started Graphic design its been three months to watch a movie.. But sometimes i feel stuck between two learning skills But in future i want to make self music videos so basically i need the both things what i am learning 😊 and i feel something change inside me 🙂

I feel this way with wanting to learn Japanese and drawing. But I made up my mind to put 100% focus on Japanese first and then pick drawing back up. It wouldn't be so bad since I know the exact set of drawing skills needed and the common pitfalls.

There's no word "завуть" in Russian. Jonathan probably meant "зовут", which stands for "called" in English. For example, "Его зовут Сергей" in Russian can be translated to English as follows: "They call him Sergei". I'm native Russian speaker and I can speak English just fine.
