A place beyond the pines is Ryan Goslings most underrated movie. It has so many metaphors on life and destiny, it's an emotional experience.
  • I remember watching Blue Valentine on Netflix at 1 AM one fine night and weeping my heart out. That movie changed my outlook towards Ryan Gosling. He's such a talented actor.

Damn, I've been activated. I saw a clip of Drive and now I have to watch the entire movie again. I honestly think that is one of the most perfect pairings of a soundtrack and a film that I've seen.
  • Wow. I didn't know 'til watching this that the roles he's played are so diverse and have so much depth. He is an underrated actor mostly just recognized for his good looks.

Love Ryan Gosling so much, he is a hard working man and an outstanding performer. He genuinely deserves an oscar!

Lala land should be Ryan's number 1. Dude did it all, dancing, playing piano, singing, and the acting as usual
  • @fratdawgg23
Dude has better range than he gets credit for. He can play a likable guy or a scheming villain.

I havent watched many Gosling movies but he to me is an incredible actor. Watching his interviews and public appreances and you actually see how much he put his efforts into building his characters, i really couldn't find much resemblance between his real personality and on screen ones.

10- The Big Short 9- The Place Beyond the Pines 8- The Note Book 7- Crazy, Stupid, Love 6- The Nice Guys 5- La La Land 4- Lars And the Real Girl 3- Half Nelson 2- Drive 1- Blue Valentine
  • Blue Valentine is one of my top 5 favourite films but I don't think I ever want to watch it again. Heartbreaking.

Bladerunner 2049, Drive, Lars, he tends to play sad lonely introverted guys a lot. what Im saying is that hes literally me
  • @linstaley9683
Not only extremely good looking and talented but also hysterically funny. Cutest grin ever
  • I saw la la land, and it was insanely good with how Ryan actually played the piano and was damn good at it. But at the same time, the elevator scene in drive is probably my favorite scene of all time. Ryan Gosling is a jack of all trades, and a master of all
  • I think his performance in Nice Guys should've been ranked higher, that character was one that was totally different than anything we've ever seen from Gosling and he straight up nailed it. Absolutely incredible.
  • I strongly urge anyone who has not seen it yet to watch The Nice Guys his chemistry with all in the film especially Angourie Rice is so great and heartwarming there is no character he cannot play!

He's such an amazing actor and he's not just a good-looking man. He can act (obviously), he can sing and dance too. I think he needs to be recognized more not because of his looks but because of his talents.

I agree with your No. 1. I've watched "Blue Valentine" for tons of times. It is his best performance ever. I felt so sad for Dean. He was a good guy and it was so real, I mean the marriage and the whole thing. I thought his performance in "the ides of March" deserved better place. He outperformed Gorge in there. I was so surprised after watching this because I suddenly found that I had watched almost all his films. Ryan Gosling is a great actor. And he is now famous in China.
