Dani, I think if you created your own channel and made videos about maintaining your apartment, it would be a great success! Everyone loves your personality and you are very relatable : )

Is it just my impression or does Dani somehow look younger and happier with every video? 🤔 Decluttering seems to make her face glow! Not that it was the total opposite to now - I'm not saying that! So pls don't get me wrong on that! I believe that all the happiness and shine was buried under the piles of stuff so to speak and now they have space to come to the surface. ☀💁🏻‍♀️✨🌺🪷

Emotionally and parasocially invested in this kitchen hahaha. Quick suggestion! Dani basically has a new house now. How about a little housewarming party to work through the booze? She deserves to celebrate and further contribute to the win!

an idea that i had from the beginning of the dani series: instead of buying new deco or candles or niknaks or make-up or skin care or crafting supplies she could maybe invest in a functional set of cabinets for the wall in the kitchen. for the price of a bottle of perfume she could get sth that maximizes the storage possibilities of the walls and with functioning and easy storage it is easier to avoid future random piling. i really enjoy her journey, her personality, her realistic clutter situation that is so relatable and the progress that is happening. a lot of greetings to both of you!

Bulk buying is not a bargain if you are not going to use the items before they expire. You're probably paying MORE for the items you actually use than you would have if you had bought just enough for short-term needs.

'Use it or lose it' is a great category in the kitchen 👏 👏

With the amount of food she has currently she could not have to or barely grocery shop for just fresh produce/meat/dairy, but could totally make plans to use up a lot of her dry/packaged goods. I do this every once in awhile as a challenge to clear my cupboards to make sure I don’t have expired foods that get pushed to the back and forgotten. Keep up the great work Dani and April!

As someone who baked professionally for years..FRESHNESS IS SO IMPORTANT….

I really feel like Dani's starbucks cups should be on a small shelf across the back wall to display them! I have been thinking about this for weeks! When you look into the kitchen the back wall is blank and it would be so pretty with all the colors and then she can have a limited space for them like she is allowed 24 lets say 4 shelves of 6? Then if there is more one in one out kind of thing? Or what ever her limit is but if she wants to have a traid in/ out of season thing have a set amout for that also what ever the number is :) please do this!!!❤

I like how Dana K White uses the “container concept”. You don’t keep buying, you designate a shelf or container for items and get rid of anything over the amount. It helps with impulsive buys and you use things. For example I am not a big tea drinker, I too get gifts of tea so I am ruthless and only keep the tea I really like in one container. It streamlines my cabinet with only things I love.

To make those lower shelves more usable for storage, I like to sort things into shoebox or sweater-sized plastic tubs, and then put them on the shelf. The plastic tubs act like drawers; you can just pull the tub out slightly, see everything, and push it back in when you're done. Makes it easier on old people with less ability to get up and down to the floor, too.

I don’t know if it was Dawn from the Minimal Mom or Cas from Clutterbug, but their advice to get the counter clutter free is to start with decluttering the cabinets. Seems counterintuitive, but when you think about it it makes perfect sense. Most things end up as clutter on the counter because there is no space to put them away fast and easy!
  • I wish Dani could get one large, cohesive piece of furniture to be along that wall instead of 4 different things that don’t match and waste the vertical space.

Every Jan 1 I do a No Buy New Year. I use up all my pantry items and freezer food so nothing goes bad. It makes me clean the pantry and donate food I will not make. It saves a ton of grocery money right after a heavy spending month in December. I try to keep about 8 weeks dry food on hand only. I was struck when someone said they call it a “store” for a reason. YOU don’t have to use your space for storage especially with limited space on an apartment.

If you want to get through some of the alcohol, bake with it! Margarita icing on cupcakes. Honey mead cakes. The possibilities are endless!

You should do an eat through your pantry challenge and see if you can go a while without having to grocery shop or only get a few fill in items. You can get creative with what you have. I know other you tubers like frigal fit mom does that periodically.
