Very impressed that Ron DeSantis and Bill Maher sat down like adults to have real conversation like we are supposed to do. This is how it is supposed to be where each expressed their opinion and agree to disagree. Ron DeSantis may have earned my vote.

Wow. You don’t often see an interview like this in today’s day and age. What a pleasant surprise that they’re calm, polite, and respectful, despite their obvious disagreements.

I remember when Steve Bannon and Kelly Anne Conway etc were on this show ages ago and Bill would tell the crowd 'be nice...' etc when they came out to stop them booing or shouting abuse...now here's DeSantis and the crowd just cheer him, laugh along with him and clap. This isn't the same show it used to be

Bill does a great job of not pulling punches, but not letting these interviews with obvious ideological foes of his fly off the rails either. He hits hard, but then he backs off a bit so it doesn't get ugly. He's very talented and savvy. I guess 30 years on the air and you learn a thing or two.
