Imagine investing in a trusted friend. This guy is crushing the poker tournament circuit, hitting six-figure scores, and now is playing in some of the juciest cash games in Florida. But suddenly he can't beat the games, and you're on the hook for hundreds of thousands of dollars in losses. This is exactly what happened to Jonathan Jaffe and Kane Kalas, among many others, who placed their faith in Ian O'Hara.

"Guys if you get caught, you have 3 options. Hiding, lying and owning up. I think you can mostly own up but mix in a little bit of hide in there every now and then - either play is fine."
  • There's always a giant difference between someone who's sorry for what they did and sorry that they got caught. Ian is clearly in the latter category.

If you get scammed twice by the same person it is absolutely your fault!!!!
  • Great content Doug. Thank you and I support more structured content like this.
  • I’m amazed at how trusting these guys are! Is it just me or would you really have to know someone before fronting money like that?
  • Mandatory like and comment for dougie. Thank you for years of content. You rock

I’ve personally lent him $3,500 cash for a wpt buyin and he was supposed to be getting money from someone else later that day to repay me…never saw it and after getting excuses for several weeks, eventually he went radio silent

So Ian lost weight and rebranded himself as Mariano?
