My sister had a celestia that said “I’m a princess, are you a princesss too” and the audio got very distorted at one point like you couldn’t understand her. The off button also didn’t work so from the closet you’d here electronic wing noises and “ïm æ prîńčēšś årė yÿúœū ā prīńçëśš tôœo”

I found a pretty high quality Queen Chrysalis plushie at a flea market a few months ago - her proportions were great, all the details and eyes were embroidered, she was all the right colours...but she was bald. Instead of a mane she just had her fuzzy grey pony head out for all the world to see. There was no indication she'd ever even had a mane; no ripped seams or places where it looked like someone had removed her locks. just a big, round, bald head. obviously she came home with me.

Celestia's official color is listed as "Rose Pink" rather than white, which might explain why so many of her toys are that pink color

The theory we came up with back in the day for why Celestia was always pink is that technically she is pink, just a really light pink. Compare her to Rarity or other white ponies and she's a different shade and has pink line art. Probably on her official write up that goes between the cartoon and toy departments she's listed as "light pink" so that's what they mix up in the factory.

Hearing that the “Cupcake Keepsakes” were kept in jars sent a chill down my spine. Like an ancient ghoul rising from beyond its death to haunt me, never making contact but staying just in the periphery of my vision. I know what it is, I know it’s there, but god I wish I didn’t.

For anyone whose curious. There was actually a line of mlp/Equestria girls themed anime figures that were released that look pretty damn good (offering figures in both the characters cannon skin colour as well as human skin colour). Though sadly their pretty hard to find and are pricy buggers

My guess as to the "quality control" aspect of the weirder ones is that so long as the toys arent exploding in kids faces or arent directly poisoning the kids they got the pass

13:25 Celestia's coat isn't white. It's pale pink. But it's a VERY pale pink. I think a lot of manufacturers didn't want to replicate it, so they just went with the lightest pink they already had on hand

Seeing the Cupcake Keepsakes genuinely shocked me. Did we all just collectively forget about the "Cupcakes" fan-fiction? I'd love to know when they released those, because that's a pretty ballsy move if you ask me. The jar is the cherry on top, seems like they were trying to appeal to the weirder sides of the fandom

I once found a dirty Twilight plush keychain on a road. I picked it up and washed it, thinking the poor thing got ran over because of how squished it was. It never un-squished. It was only when I saw the TY portion of this video that I realised it was made that way
