I can see why the Cleveland show didn’t make it past season 4. It started out really strong but the family guy writers were spread too thin to do that plus Cleveland’s show justice . It’s kinda a shame because there were some genuinely funny moments but not enough to keep the ratings high. And at the end of the day the format and everything made it so similar that it ended up being “black family guy” with nothing else to help it stand out.

1:23 I like how the room in the sitcom is almost the exact same as the Smith family living room in American Dad, but there's still noticeable differences in the furniture and decorations, meaning it wasn't a reused asset, and it's possible they intentionally modelled it like that as a reference without it being in your face.
