Why can't we get a mini-series of Herc and Thor going on a quest and just being awesome bros?
-
"You don't need to worry about the Atlas Foundation, they suck" 🤣
-
Chaos War Herc is pretty op for literally boxing a being that ate 98% of the Marvel Multiverse
-
There’s an image of satan hugging his son before sacrificing himself to protect others.... nice
-
I wonder if "Knull" is an aspect of "Oblivion" and the "Chaos King". Shoutout to "Gorr the God Butcher" for also killing gods.
-
The purpose of the story is to explain how Hercules took Zeus's place...& Athena is secretly nuts.
-
You miss the point entirely. It's "the hero's journey" set to an interdimensional epic. In the end, the rest of the story is backdrop for the singular hero's story arc. At least that's my interpretation.
-
Perhaps chaos king was personally inside Zeus, then protected him from Galactus' attack. When Hercules attacked he could have just let the blow happen, to get him to open the portal to that God realm.
-
“Everybody asking where’s the living tribunal” he probably on his recliner and watching the golden girls I can hear it now..Thank u for being a friiiiiiiiiiend🎵😂😂
-
People: "Why the Living Tribunal doesn't show up?!" Ryan: "So the story can happen :)"
-
He says there was no real purpose for this story since things went back to how they were. But maybe the point was to show just how bad things could go. How close it could come to everything going out forever. Thanos with the Infinite Gauntlet has been seen as the end, but really it was an end to much of life, but not of reality itself. The threat posed by oblivion, not the cosmic entity per say, but the literal end of all things, is what was shown in this story.

I think at the end of the day, these events have a message for the reader. Continuity is retcon'd all the time so what does any outcome matter in anything comics related? The final panels wherein Herc establishes himself as a hero is pretty worthwhile in and of itself. Maturation comes in many ways and takes many forms and sometimes when it happens nobody sees and even more so you could very well find yourself back at square one after the fact. Regardless, it's almost kinda relatable

Damn it man! Now I’m never going to be able to see Galactus hanging silently out in space without thinking he’s got the theme to The Greatest American Hero or Charles in Charge going on in his head 😂
-
"There's this being out there and he's REALLY popular." - Rob's Hercules
-
The equivalent of Valhalla for Greek mythos is a split of the fields of Elysium and for demigods specially chosen by the gods they go to Olympus as demigods
-
... ARE YOU BLIND!? ~ Galactus to chaos king.... What a badass 😂
-
There is a Valhalla in Greek mythology its called the Elysian Fields
-
Chaos King didn’t die, he was Banished but was satisfied there.
-
