You can do it. Ater A 50 yr run! I’m 71 and have almost 5 yrs clean and sober! Its miraculous! I achieved it with aa, God and me.
  • 22 years ago, on the first day of this millennium, I was on death’s doorstep. A raging alcoholic and drug addict. I was in hell. I pulled out my vinyl copies of Astral Weeks, Veedon Fleece and Common one. Today I am clean and sober and so happy. Van was an important part of my rehabilitation.

I have been a huge fan of Van Morrison for 60 f--kin years since I first heard him sing Gloria with "Them" in 1964 and then solo with TB Sheets, Brown Eyed Girl, Irish Lullaby, On the Bright Side of the Road and so many others. He always kept his own unique style and never gave in to musical fads. This fantastic cover of the late, great Sam Cooke's Bring it on Home to Me shows how, like fine wine, he just gets better with age.😅

So grateful that in these times, we can jump online and see all the most amazing performances by the greatest. That I can catch up on the past 50 years of Van Morrison.

The two backing singers are really great. Van is his usual brilliant self. I had forgotten how really great music sounds.
  • I’m 75 next month met my wife in 1965 married in 1969. Thank god I still have her and are both in good health. We fell in love to the music of the sixties in Glasgow we listen to music every day I feel blessed to have been a teenager in the sixties
  • the singer adds his vocal print to an already masterful song… any thing Van touches turns to gold from the rainbow
  • This is actually my first time watching one of your videos Mr Van Morrison. First time I watched it I was beside myself. 👍The reason being I know your age you're in your early '70s like my older brother and you sing like you're 26 years of age.🌺 The only thought I could think of is how could that be true 👍 I believe that God gave you a gift to sing to the world 🌍about love and all that goes with it. He is allowing you to continue to sing because you're doing it for the right reasons it appears to me is that you are on that stage because you love music 🌹🎀. And what it does to your audiences. Your music and your talent brings us so much joy and happiness. Thank you 🌹👍👍

Just when you think he couldn't get better. He turns around and sings better than when he was younger. It will be an extremely sad day for yours truly when he is gone. His music has affected my life for many decades. God bless him for what he's given us.
  • That is a guitarist who is completely at one with his guitar. True professional.
  • Van Morrison can also be given credit for always making sure he surrounds himself with true professionals. No slouches allowed on his stage.

I've been a punk, a grunge chick, a raver & now i'm happily old I feel like this music has been waiting for me all my life. Extrordinary ❤‍🔥
  • What a tremendous vocalist, musician, writer and performer Van Morrison has been through the years. I can listen to him all day!
  • @man1983
the guitar solo is something divine. Touch all the most significant and expressive notes of the blues .... wow
  • Van - the only artist who can take a classic song like this, make it his own and give us gold.
  • Been listening to this guy since he started and he never ceases to amaze me. He is one of the greatest musician, singer, song writers from the era that will never be again. This is when they poured there hearts and souls out for all of us to enjoy. This era of music had a meaning, purpose and a story to tell of real life experiences and not this bull crap music put out today. Thanks for all the great music Van. Your music will still be playing after we are long gone brother and I am glad that I got to experience the best music ever in the 70's, 80's and 90's. God Bless all the great artists of that time period. Amen

Van Morrison! The Belfast Music Man. I never tire of this Man's voice. The unique Morrison sound is definitely from the heart and reaches deep into the soul.
