God bless you thank you for sharing your story. The amount of things I saw in myself hearing this was truly eye opening. I hope this impacts kids everywhere and saves them from the extremes you went through. I'll do my part and add on my experiences to help a kid if ever necessary.

yesterday i uninstalled gta5, after i realised that i played that game for 400 hours in a last 6 months. i don't feel i'm an addict, but boy do i understand how easy it is to be one. good luck you all.. and thanks for sharing this story

I stopped gaming at age 25 because I was really pissed at my teammates and because my computer broke somehow and took one month to repair it, in the meantime I started doing other things and I'm studying to become a m.d., I love studying now and have time to read some researches, I'm fit and happy

Yes, you can control gaming. But for some people it's very difficult to near impossible. If you have a "nervous personality" type, you're more prone to get addicted.

I have a feeling a lot of the dislikes are from younger gamers who (maybe) have yet to feel the repercussions of gaming addiction. I'm 24 and over the last few years, gaming addiction has been all too real and devastating for me.
