  • This video was pluffy. Across all classes it looked very good. First - truly amazing. Economy food looked some of the best I've seen (out of 80 airlines). Great to have Lauren along - would love her to do a business/First review. There's always a bit of a random element with call-bell challenges.
  • Premium economy on JAL gives you lounge access. You should have mentioned that in the video.
  • Can we see Nicky flying economy in a 10-abreast French Bee A350 or in a 440-seat Cebu Pacific A330. Or if you really want to punish him, long haul British Airways economy…

I thought Nicky was flying first too much, so I looked up how often he flew First, Business, Premium, and Economy in all the comparison videos. Here's what I got: First-7, Buisness-10, Premium Economy-4, Economy-13. If you group together Premium Economy and Economy and then First and Business, its equal at 17-17. So he's not flying first/business all the time. There must be some recency bias going on because I definitely felt like he was flying first/business more often than not, but the numbers don't lie. Overall, he's flying a very balanced amount and I stand corrected!

If you're flying Premium Economy you have access to the lounge (or at least that's the way it was in December...) but that sushi outside looked great!
  • Loving Lauren's honesty about the pillow and nearly being bypassed on the call bell challenge, and especially enjoying Nicky living his best life listening to MJ. Don't think we didn't see your iPad, buddy.
  • When I was flying First Class out of Haneda, I couldn't figure out where the designated First Class check-in was. So I just went to a random kiosk and printed my ticket, no big deal. Then I go ask a random attendant where should I go to check my bag as every counter has a designation, but I still don't see First for some reason. Morning brain maybe. After I showed them my ticket, it was pretty funny. As if they couldn't believe I would print it myself since I was flying first. Another person came over and took my check-in for me and the other guided me into the security screening area while asking if I needed anything. It was a great experience on the ground. Even more so on the flight between the food and the flight attendants. Japan Airlines' offerings are awesome.
  • Haven't tried the A350 yet but had 2 flights with JAL in April from Honolulu to Sydney via Tokyo. Booked premium economy for both which gave us lounge access at Honolulu and Haneda. On checking in at Honolulu we were given a free upgrade to business on the overnight flight from Tokyo to Sydney. The lounge at Honolulu was OK and the flight itself in premium economy on the 787-9 was great as was the service. The lounge at Haneda was also great for the 3.5 hours we spent in it before boarding the flight to Sydney on the 777-300. Again excellent service and food. I can't fault any of it and would happily fly with them again.
  • 20:12 I can’t help but notice how liam’s using the wrong end of the chopsticks…probably getting wooden splinters in his food haha

What a phenomenally comprehensive review of Japan Airlines a350 1000 on a transcontinental flight. Applause!!!
  • @scruff520
The economy looked very tight as they usually do, the premium class looked more like business on some airlines although agreed with Lauren that pillow looked cheap, Liam's business class looked like a BAs first class, and Nicky's first looked amazing. Great video guys.
  • Liam’s West Ham phone background of the parade, “champions of Europe, we know what we are” 😂❤ another great video guys!
  • @thomas-xj1hs
Let's give Nicky a rest for a year or so and let others in...
  • @SkodenTho
Lauren and Ben have great banter and insights. I’d love to see more of both of them! ☺️
  • @hammyboi7
I was able to go to the lounge in premium economy with Japan Airlines - the same Sakura lounge that the business ticket gets you into at Haneda I think. It was great.
  • @we-hb4ni
Love JAL, love Haneda, love the Sakura lounge, love the A350. That First class is definitely bucket list worthy. ❤
  • @rem05033
The first class is very impressive. I checked out the round trip cost from Tokyo to New York on this plane. It's $27,000. It should be that good at that price. Great video and thanks!!
  • @johnsax1445
On JAL, Premium Economy is entitled to use of the Sakura Lounge, why didn’t she use it?
  • Beautiful Air Craft And Cabins.I Love The Japanese Cuisine Aboard.Great Video And Info
