Two earbuds in each ear? Hardcore gamer right here!

Awesome video man! I pre ordered mine with Zelda on Amazon. I look forward to playing it. I'm not too worried about the lack of initial titles since I'm sure there will be more down the road.
  • I think it'll be a great system and I'm definitely looking forward to picking one up, but it's hard to justify the cost with so few games in the pipeline. Mario Odyssey and BotW look stellar but that's about it imo.

I'm waiting until Christmas next year.

I think the only thing that I have pre-ordered in 2016 was FF15 and that's because there was a deal where I was getting more credit for I was selling if I picked up a pre-order... so it will not happen for the Switch that's for sure! I will get one at some but it won't be until at least the latest Mario comes out or when there's an exclusive RPG that I want to try out! The idea to continue my games when I go to work is awesome which is why I know I will get one but just not day one! Great video and keep up the good work!

I just picked up a Wii U console, game pad that came with Splatoon protective case all the cords, a Zelda GameCube style controller for the Wii U... Yoshis Wholly World, Lego Jurassic World CIB, Just Dance 2015 disc. Also Splatoon and Super Smash Bros Wii U downloads on it. All for just $160

Hey man. Yeah I've pre-ordered a Switch with Limited Edition Zelda and Pro Controller. I'm not interested in 1,2 Switch or Arms. Im going to enjoy Zelda for 6 weeks or so until Mario Kart Deluxe is out. I'm 33 and never got a console at launch and it's a box I want to tick in my life. I'm a big oldskool Nintendo guy so thought the Switch would be a good time to get a launch system. I've had a Wii U and didn't like it. Sold it on. I'm hoping he Switch will be a success but only time will tell. I agree the online chat sounds like it's going to be rubbish....I'm just hoping they integrate it somehow so you don't basically use the phone to chat with players. Fingers crossed dude 👍🏼

Pre ordered mine. Ill be able to play zelda at work. Yes please lol
  • @Emceemur
The short answer is "it's not worth it". This is another wacky Nintendo stunt. But we're collectors so that's different. I did the same preorders you did! The difficulty in getting the nes classic also added to the panic to order a switch early. Was that Nintendos strategy all along?
  • @NintendoHodge
i am getting one and it is pre-ordered. I also got BOW master editon as well. I was upset during the Nintendo Event (It's in my video) but after 24 hours of thinking and the Tree House event I am back on board and full steam a head. I am pretty sure the free monthly game is the same as PS Plus you keep it as long as you have an account. The monthly limitation is with regards to the online play of that game.

I went ahead and got a neon switch pre ordered. I figure I always purchase the latest Nintendo systems and have had a lot of fun with them. I am excited for the new Zelda and that will be enough for me for awhile... I am not actually in a huge hurry for games to come out considering for every game I want that launches thats $60 I have to shell out.

Personally I think it's silly (and that's putting it mildly) to talk in terms of "pre-orders". But I might be old fashioned that way. Talking about "being able to get" a pre-order, implies that it is somehow hard to successfully pre-order. That it is something for an elite group of buyers. In my mind, that is the world up-side down. Nintendo should be glad to be able to get your business at all. That aside, I am a typical late adopter and I'll be getting it somewhere down the line as I'm sure it will be available far after its launch date. Most early adopters deal with glitches, updates and broken-out-of-the-box issues. It takes a special kind of person to enjoy being an early adopter. I am not one of them. Not in the last place due to the high price point in Europe and the UK. I shall get one used. A number of people will be disappointed in the system and will sell it on at a price that is closer to what I would pay for it.
  • not until closer to Christmas time. hopefully there will be some bundles by then and also there will be more than 1 game out that I want to play. Right now it's just Zelda which I'll just get on wii u for now.
  • I will play zelda on the wii u. Yeah the switch pro controller for 70 is insane.
  • @XboxerBriefs
I went into this presentation hoping Nintendo would give me a reason to break my new mantra of not being an early adopter. They didn't change my mind, and I'm not in a huge hurry to pick up anything until there are at least 5 games worthy of the investment. I really don't gravitate to handheld gaming, so some of the primary function is not going to be useful for me. The online functionality is suspect at the moment, and the "free period" is, at its core, a beta, which I'd rather not be a part of. And the "free game" is effectively "Sega Channel 2.0". Why not let "subscribers" keep those virtual console games? And Zelda on WiiU - that's exactly what I plan to do. When the time comes, I may then look to get it on Switch (assuming the game is as good as we're being told it is).
  • @Randomark3087
Some of the games look cool, but I'm gonna wait a while to see how sales are.
  • @mrweaverface
I never pre-order anything. I usually wait until the hype AND the costs go down before I decide if it's worth it. I haven't bought a brand new Nintendo system in years. Regarding the Switch's memory, I heard there's only 32GB of internal storage, and that if you install Zelda, it takes up 40% of that! It is going to support those Micro SDXC memory cards up to 2TB, but they don't even make 2TB cards yet. PLUS a legit SAMSUNG 512GB card right now is about $100 on eBay. So, it's a bit pricey for me. I'll stick with my PS4 and Vita gaming! I think if I have some extra money to spend, I'm going PSVR!
  • @markdane8264
I will not get one until I can find one for under $150. I've heard rumblings that third party companies will pull out fast and the Switch is expected to have a very short lifespan of 3-5 years.
  • @NefariousWes
Why does Nintendo refuse to get with the times in regards to online play? I'll do what I've done with every Nintendo system since the N64 and wait for the new Mario Kart.
  • @n1ntndo133
I preordered mine alone with BotW but am sad that I missed out on getting the deluxe version... they were all gone before I had a chance to get it... I will also be getting the Wii U version too... may just be the final game made for the system.
