if you take a morning cooking class at the Blue Elephant restaurant they take you on a tour in the Bang Rak market and do some shopping for ingredients 👍🏼

The Bang Rak food court is great. Woman half way down the line makes the best soup... We enjoy this area, Soup for lunch, then a beer while relaxing at Jack's. Great video's, thanks!

I love Jack’s bar at sunset. It can get crowded. You walked by “Fat & Angry” , a decent hot dog restaurant. I am intrigued by “South Philly”. I would love to find a good cheesesteak.

Thanks Jeroen. Jack's Bar is great - basic, with zero frills - but the food is surprisingly good for a very reasonable price - and the fish's-eye view of the Chao Phraya is pretty damn unique and atmospheric. Always used to be a queue for tables just before sunset, but surprisingly it was rarely a long wait. Every time we've been, we stayed way too long .. "while the traffic died down" ! Haven't been since COVID - but this video reminds me, it's time to go again. Thanks!
