Ukrainian army brigades invaded onto Russian soil into Kursk Oblast for the first time in history. They quickly started fighting in 11 separate villages in an incursion. Stryker Armored vehicles were deployed. Early reports indicate this was a force of at least 1,000 soldiers; more than 11 main battle tanks and 20 armored combat vehicles. We will also examine the offensive campaign into the Donbas region. The electrical power attacks. The mobilization and conscription as well. They pushed up the R200 highway connecting Ukraine to Kursk Oblast in Russia. They’ve advanced at least 10km although unconfirmed reports claim as far as 30km as of Thursday August 8th.

Two things can be true at the same time. Ukraine can be losing ground in the Donbas and along the rest of the frontline while at the same time this incursion of Kursk Oblast can be bad news for Moscow. My goal is to provide you with objective look at the entire picture of the war. This means covering all aspects of the war from the good bad and ugly for both sides. The more bizarre part of the gas pipeline is not that it's running through Ukraine and that it has been unaffected by the war but the fact that Russian government controlled Gasprom company that owns the pipeline has been diligently paying Ukraine for the transit of gas to Europe. One can tell that this oddly uninterrupted Russian-Ukrainian gas transit deal has been contributing to Ukrainian annual budget. So, yes, in an odd and round about way, Russia is helping fund Ukrainian war effort against Russia lol. It goes to show that big money transcends the war and will continue to conduct its business despite the hostilities. I doubt Ukrainians will do anything to the gas pipe - that pipe is dear to both Russians and Ukrainians.

At long last, after decades of blue balls, American made equipment finally rolls onto Russian soil.

Sun Tsu said to attack where they're weak, and defend where they're strong. You don't win by attacking into the teeth of their best and well defended spot. This is why the Blitzkrieg thru the Ardennes was a thing. You don't attack France thru the thickest part of the Maginot Line.

I can't unsee the territory that Ukrainian Forces occupied is like a big middle finger😂

As a Ukrainian, I want to clarify a few things. Russia has forced us into a trench warfare situation reminiscent of WWI. In this kind of war, we stand little chance because Russia has much larger economic, military, and human resources. We can't win these head-on battles. Our advantage lies in maneuver warfare with tactical operations. Russia struggles with this type of warfare due to its low-quality officers, rigid command structure, and long decision-making chain. However, since Russia has built complex fortifications along the front line in the occupied territories of Ukraine, we have no choice but to attack where they least expect it.. Additionally, there’s another reason that's not so obvious. Putin’s so-called 'peace plan' to freeze the current battle lines won't work if we manage to capture some Russian territories.

It's not an "invasion", it's a Special Military Operation
  • There is a common story about how when Ukrainian troops asked their German trainers how to deal with mines, they were told to "go around them." I'm not sure how truthful this story is, but Ukraine definitely went around the fortified areas alright.

Russia: attacks and invades Ukraine for no legitimate reason Ukraine: fights back to defend their country Russia: “Ukraine is provoking us and escalating things”
  • @oh515
When it comes to the gas, they said the gas agreements will not be renewed. That’s a clear signal to the European country’s to hurry up and stop supporting Russia.
  • @MrKaNuke
Russia being able to move freely around Ukraine while Ukraine not being able to freely go after their supply lines has been a big reason Russia could supply their southern lines so well. Giving Ukraine freedom to fight on equal playing ground is game changing. Russia’s been able to say “I’m out of bounds! No tagsies!” for 2 years now. Now there’s no out of bounds.
