8:25 the reason you entered the odyssey was because of the rear entrance. You can crouch on the largest exhaust pipe directly behind the door to enter the odyssey. Apparently they forgot to remove that in the cascade model of the destroyed odyssey. There is another secret entrance. It is located on top of the odyssey, and it is a circle with a star-shaped pattern in the middle. Ground pound on it to enter the odyssey. Hope you found these things interesting!

I love games that work 100% as intended in a normal playthrough, but have so many glitches and breaks that can be exploited while speedrunning or just goofing around. Glitches and unintended mechanics are what make speedruns so damn interesting as opposed to playing the normal game but faster. Sadly games are becoming less breakable these days like they did back on the N64, but Super Mario Odyssey is a beautiful exception to this and I love it.
