Heat pressing on a $200 jersey is an absolute disgrace. I genuinely wish ill on Nike and Fanatics for this BS.

Great review man, big respect for using personal funds to inform us the viewers in the big differences. I do have to say limited is worth when it's on sale for $115 I got my white Sox black one and yes it's not worth 175 let alone 155 but for 116 I had to give it a shot and it's not terrible but for retail that's a huge no for me. I do like the stretchy feel to them
  • The pricing is absolutely CRIMINAL. There’s NOTHING special about the manufacturing process that makes any of these remotely worth the price. It’s total robbery.
  • @adubbk
I'll take the pervious generation over these. This was just a money grab.
  • @TheChrome-Magnon
Until I get paid like these players, I won’t be able to afford to wear the jerseys they wear. 😂

Glad I picked up my authentic phillies jersey last year, since nike decided this year that the chain stitching which really looked amazing on the authentic phillies Jerseys were too expensive. Nike really had an opportunity show show their dominance when they picked up the MLB jersey contract, but they really fumbled big time. While fanatics does have some QC issues, at the end of the day they're contracted by nike to manufacture the jerseys to nike specs with the materials that nike chooses, so I don't understand all the flack they're getting for what are clearly nikes decisions.
  • I got the Elite (25% off!) and the LENGTH is the one big thing that bugs me. It looks like a dress on me. The fit is great otherwise. I can’t decide to get it tailored (by a lady in our neighborhood who makes dresses, so it’s perfect) or return it. My only concern is that getting it trimmed would make the last button look odd. Anyway. Thanks for going through all the details! It’s the kind of information they don’t give you online.
  • I have a few Orioles authentic jerseys from years past, including Rutschman's 2024 Nike Elite white home. While I'm with the masses who prefer the larger name font and less curvature on the back, the overall weight and material of the jersey overall is nicer than more recent years prior. The length of the Elite jersey does seem a bit longer than the 2023 authentic. I wear a Size 40 Elite, and it seems longer than my 2023 Kyle Bradish game-worn jersey (size 46), my 2023 Cedric Mullins game-worn jersey (size 44), and my 2023 Grayson Rodriguez game-issued jersey (size 48). If you're taller than 6'0" it's not really an issue. I'm 5'9" and so it's going to look long. It's a mixed bag with the Limited. I like they went with the twill options around the board. For $200, would prefer stitching vs heat-press. If you're a season-ticket holder for your MLB club, chances are you're getting somewhere between a 20%-30% discount on team merch. For that big of a discount, it makes the Elite more affordable (and can pay for a healthy chunk of your STs), and brings the Limited to around what a traditional replica is. One thing specifically for the Orioles I'm not a fan of for the 2024 Elite is the Baltimore patch on the left arm is heat-pressed twill, vs the more traditional thicker patch stitched on. Again, I know it's about performance and weight... but the patch just looks cheaper, and it aligns with what players are saying that the game jersey looks and feels like a replica. Look, it's not perfect... and I'm sure post 2024 Nike and Fanatics will make tweaks. If both companies revert to previous year styles regarding fonts, etc., it may make the 2024 a bit of a cult collector's item (even though we may hate them now). It's a stretch to think that, sure. Something to consider though.

How are those Elite jerseys $394?! It's not even good stitching. Those should be more in the $200 range.
  • @TheChrome-Magnon
Problem is whenever there’s a discount code they don’t work on the these new jerseys. And I want to be at like $250 (max)on an elite. So until that happens they can keep them. And the limited isn’t going to happen. I’d pay like $75 for one of those pieces of junk.
  • @raffyschaw2622
My least favorite part honestly is moving the MLB logo off of the collar and onto the back. Looks like a knock-off.
  • Wait a minute!!!! A lot of the jerseys I saw specifically for the Braves had that limited look to the logo with the actual separation of the a in the name. Were the players actually wearing limiteds??? That's crazy
  • @abelacosta6593
Good video, I bought the Nike vapor elite oilers jersey of the titans, I would buy the elite baseball jersey I think the moneys worth it
  • @rocky1d
I typically wear a medium for the limited jersey. Would you advise I get a 44 for the elite? I’m 5’10 and 160ibs.
  • @LKRS-Ralf
I really hope one day they would make the elites length shorter for consumers. Not everyone is 6 feet tall😢
  • @YamaMX
Any word on any Elites for away or alternate jerseys? Only see home. 😢
  • @blaisebanko3487
The only issue I have with the authentic jerseys are the length. I’m only 5’4 1/2”. I have one authentic and its SOOO long on me its not wearable. And as much as I hate the changes this year, I still may grab a City Connect limited since it fits me much better, which fit is the most important factor to be honest. City Connects are gimmicks, so I’m fine settling for a limited until they change some things down the road.
  • @himoverthere6716
Welp, so much for it being performance driven. The players were soaking right through them… in April 😂
