As a Judoka it is interesting to see how BJJ people approach stand up. That triceps grip is very good bringing your opponent closer in. If you grab the collar or even behind the shoulder on the gi as opposed to the other tricep you can attempt a sasae or a hiza garuma and you’d get a lot more leverage than the second sleeve, it’s just hard to get with the more wrestling posture Just before you go to his back as you came up onto your feet I do think you were wide open for a Sumi Gaeshi counter if he’d grabbed your belt instead of your hip with his right hand and hooked the inside of your right knee with his right foot, but seemed like he didn’t see it or want to engage in it. Sacrifice techniques seem to be a lot more common in BJJ. Cool video
