My daughter's father died in Harris county jail he was only in there for tickets. The jailers beat him to death and coverd up his death in 2005. Everything coming to the light thank you God. I pray they get justice but we never did. Then my mother law died a month later. She couldn't believe he was murdered.... only in jail for tickets.

Lord have mercy. This is sickening. My heart goes out to the families.

And not only the men's, but the women's faculty also. I had a loved one who was in there. She told me how she was beaten and denied her medication. She described how the guards would wrap their hands in towels to hit her to minimize visible bruising and marks. Before we could get her out, attempts would be made to visit. We'd make it through security--2 separate occasions--only to be told that she couldn't have visitors. When we finally saw her we could tell she'd been hit although it was subtle. When she got to court, the extra charges they gave her while she was locked up were "conveniently" dropped. We're blessed we could get her bailed out... ALIVE, and she's finished her probation. She's moved on with her life, but her trauma is real. Yes, they need to hold these rogue guards and the superiors that stand by them ACCOUNTABLE. And that means PUNISHMENT for their unlawful acts. They're worse than the ALLEGED criminals because, after all, the vast majority have NOT been convicted. Thus, they are presumed innocent until PROVEN guilty.

Please have a private autopsy on your son it is very critical that you do. 😭😭😭🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 My heartfelt condolences goes out to you and your family. I pray that you get Justice. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Damn this made me cry, his death, his family hurting, and more for grandpa holding his granddaughter tight after he says she looks just like him.

Prisons are some of the most dangerous places on earth not just for inmates but guards also,but I hope there is some justice in this situation.

That lady had the audacity to say she doesn’t care if her son killed 9 ppl no one should do him anything. Not saying someone should. Parents like her are the reason why the youth freely commit so many crimes today.
