It's nearly 2024, but I always go back to 2010's pop songs. This is my childhood.🥺🥰

2010s was honestly a great decade for music. There were so many incredible hits. Nostalgia hits different. I was born in 97 so these songs were part of my adolescence. It certainly brings back memories from middle school and high school. Music is so powerful and universal.

If your reading this, it's probably night time or maybe your studying for that upcoming test you have, or you might not be doing anything, you might just want to listen to some calming music. No matter the reason, I hope you know that everything is okay, take a deep breath, pause your studying, stop what your doing, look outside, go outside if possible, just for a minute. Take a minute to take a couple deep breaths outside, get some fresh air. Fill your lungs with the cold air outside, take a minute to look around, look at this beautiful earth we live on, it may be flawed but it's still beautiful. I might be a stranger talking to another stranger telling them what to do as if I know them, but I want you to know, you're loved by many. It might not feel like it but I promise things will look up for you. You'll find love, make friends with the greatest people, achieve your dreams. I cant believe that at 21 years old, I'm looking back at songs that 10-15 year old me hated, and enjoying them. I'm not sure if it's nostalgia, new pop music being worse, or my tastes expanding, but this stuff is definitely hitting much different than it used to 😅

I miss when music was like this. I grew up in the 2010s and I'm so close to becoming an adult, these songs are the last traces of an amazing childhood and amazing life till COVID kicked us all down the stairs. How I miss when times were simple ❤
