Part 2 of my Uncruise through Southeast Alaska took me to Glacier Bay National Park and straight through the Inside Passage and ocean full of whales, sea lions and wildlife as we cruised passed glaciers and ice at one of America's hardest to reach National Parks.

  • What would your go to activity be each day, bushwhacking, kayaking or skiff touring the sea?
  • This is a wonderful world which you have videoed and shown to us. It makes me as if I have been to Alaska. This adventure is very worth.
  • @Tinkerplace
Alice, your videos over the years have matured into a great travel video guide! I love how you include facts, environment education, and let your sunny personality come through. Can't wait to see what comes next!

Beautiful trip, I love getting to see places in my own country that I have never visited. I am always awed by the beauty and majesty of God's creation. And the unique flora and fauna He created to inhabit every landscape and habitat that He created on the planet. You did an amazing job of filming your trip to Alaska. Thank you for allowing me to share in the beauty and majesty of the Alaska wilderness, that you got to enjoy.

Glaciers are as ever majestic but melting away. When a chunk fell off, it sounds like thunder. And the whales, they are so huge and calm, always impressive to watch them going their way. And to answer your question, although I am not a water person, I would go for kayaking with optional pit stops along the shoreline, exploring by foot here and there. Thank you for sharing Alice. See ya on your next adventure.

Magical time, thanks for taking us along! Will plan this trip in our plans.
  • Alice, this is such a beautiful episode! I can't believe hiw much Marjorie Glaicer has receded since oyr visit in 2017 😮 I loved so many of your captures, but the bald eagle on the glaicer was perfect! I like that you won the limbo 😊 Also, getting to get off the boat and hike must have been amazing! That is such a great experience! I agree, not many places as magical as Glaicer Bay ❤

I've been to Glacier Bay. Thanks for sharing. Brought back wonderful memories.😊

Alaska is so amazing. Used to work on a Salmon Boat as a kid and every year we'd go from Washington State to Alaska via Inside passage for a couple months a year for Salmon. Always wanted to go back. I fell in love with Alaska, but my lifetime in military service kept me from it. You've inspired me to return to the beauty that once captured me as a young kid.

Hi Alice. Great presentation of your cruise and ours! My wife and I (Wendy & Rick) were also on that cruise. I’m the guy on the right of you doing the polar plunge. Loved your backwards dive! Great wildlife visuals and details. Felt like I was there again.
  • @jackwyland7733
you're perm- a-smile says a million words. A place I must visit . Thanks so much for sharing.

Absolutely great part 2 Alice As for my activity each day i suspect it would vary from day to day but include probably little of everything
  • @tacrewgirl
Yes, I did a small ship cruise this summer in SE Alaska with Alaskan Dream Cruises and it was beautiful. The cruise was more culturally based so we learned about the different Alaska Native cultures with local guides - Tlingit, Haida, Tshimshian. There was a bit of strolling in the woods too. It was way better then a big ship with 2,000+ people. Ours was a max if 49 guests. Thanks for sharing about your experience with Uncruise.
  • @carloscuesta3031
This is an amazing trip and views ! I follow you since you went to explore Ecuador 🇪🇨, I Enjoy your videos and I hope you had a very happy birthday ! Thank you for your adventures.
  • @jayr9957
WOW! Another incredible adventure and video Alice! I don't have words to describe what an idyllic setting and how spectacular the views were! I literally felt like I was there, vicariously of course, thank you so much for sharing! The adventures and experiences you continue to bring to us are so inspiring and humbling at the same time. I've been to Denali but Glacier Bay looks even more out of this world. Glacier Bay and Katmai are next on the list of my Alaskan adventures. I'll be sure to check out Uncruise :)
  • @marty17f
Thanks Alice great video. I am going on a cruise in November. I hope my cruise is as good as yours .I liked the way your cruise stopped and had hikes along the way.
  • @thegrizzncamp
Wow! Can't imagine how incredible it must have been to experience this cruise and exploration adventure. The scenery from your video is awesome. This looked like a very unique travel trip. Excellent editing skill as usual. P.S. The bog must have been bizarre to walk on.
