Pete's Dragon: Elliott saves the Mayor and his company

I always viewed Hoagy as the reluctant villain. Sure he wanted to get rich off of Elliot, but he didn't want to kill him to do so. He clearly didn't like the idea of firing the harpoon at Elliot when Terminus laid out his plan as we saw his facial expression when Terminus said "After the tertiary net drops on him, I'll give you the signal and you fire that harpoon right into the middle.". And again just before the harpoon is fired, Hoagy momentarily looks away before trying to war Terminus that his leg is tangled in the rope. Hoagy seems the type that can be redeemed, I can only imagine how things would have turned out if he had turned against Terminus.

The looks on both Pete and Elliot’s faces when Terminus gets launched through the roof and across the harbor.....Pete is like “Holy S**T!!”...and Elliot is cracking up laughing!

Pete and Elliot were so busy laughing that they didn't realize the harpoon was there

Just because Elliott is serious and stern in the 2016 version doesn't mean he cannot pull pranks in this version.

The most hilarious part of scene looking at evil foster family covered with tar and Doc terminus hang his right foot upside and saying, "WHAT ARE YOU MAGICAL DRAGON LAUGHING AT????" 😂😂😂😂

That bill of sale was the only thing the Goggins could use to claim Pete…(I believe Elliott relied that upon seeing it )now that Elliott burned it, they have NO claim to him and gave up their pursuit ( plus MA Gogan seems to had enough, realizing it’s not worth the Trouble)
