In this video, we take a walking tour of the renovated Cocoa Beach Pier that was damaged after Hurricane Nicole in late 2022. A row of shops containing a cookie shop, daiquiri shop and sandwich shop were added to compliment the clothing/souvenir shop that was already there. Pier 62 restaurant was also renovated and is a short walk from the end of the pier, where the famous Rikki Tikki Tavern is located. (S23)

You should have taken some film footage of what is under the pier!!! Take a look at the MANY rusted bolts, and deteriorated support beams and all the rusted pipes, and electrical conduit! The underneath is a mess, and it wouldn't take much of a storm to bring that 61 year old pier down. Everything you filmed was COSMETIC! I moved to Cape Canaveral in 1966, and the old pier was beautiful. Then instead of replacing the support pilings, they decided to fiberglass wrap the pilings and fill with concrete, instead of REPLACING them. And they continue to band aid the support and spend the money on super over priced, bars, shops, and restaurants! The parking price is also outrageous. Westgate has turned the pier into a tourist trap, screwing the locals out that supported the pier for decades. The pier is now something when i visit i just DRIVE BY....It is an over priced dump.
