Thank you so much Nick! The food was amazing!! I had so much fun!
-
Yama seems like such a friendly guy. Despite his little knowledge of English, he sounded so happy and chill when he interacted with Nick. He seems like a gentle giant
-
I love how Yama is so positive he’s always giggling and laughing😂. I love the end part “HEY DON”T TOUCH MY MOCHI” so iconic
-
Wow i’m so impressed! I’m Japanese and I’ve seen many ‘Americanized’ Japanese dishes saying authentic japanese cuisine which is disappointing tho. But you Nick, seem to have respect for traditional cuisine and make quality dishes! So satisfying and thanks for your beautiful dishes and interesting video!!! Love from Japan

I’ve never seen a sumo wrestler without a kind soul. They’re just so friendly.
-
Yama is so wholesome. Him and nick get along so well
-
yama seems so nice, the way he laughs is adorable
-
I cant bro this whole video was so sweet and cute😭😭 when yama got served the food, the cute laughs and smiles and how he expressed himself during it in a different language i found adorable bless his heart bro😇💗
-
Can we appreciate this wholesome man's flexibility? Like I'm assuming that many people can't do a split. That's impressive!
-
The best thing about Nick is that he feels joy in feeding others which is rare and his expressions are not fake. He truly depicts the fact that for a chef the satisfaction of the person eating is the most important. It wasn't a comedy or skit but the video was so fulfilling that I was all smiles. Nick was happy cooking and so was Yama when he was eating. I'm not a sumo wrestler or an actor but I hope ill be able to eat nick's full course meal one day.

Man, I just love this guy's personality! Just pure gold.
-
He looks dangerous but actually has a funny, sweet and cute personality 😭😭
-
I love Nick nodding to what Yama is saying in Japanese as if he understood everything
-
Nick can find a way to cook under any circumstance
-
8:43 that face on the meat😂😊. Props to the editors
-
''Hey Don't touch my mochi!'' was really funny at the end and Yama is such a nice and friendly guy
-
As a Japanese national, it has always been a delight to see how Nick respects Japanese dishes. Even though he is still a learner, a real quick learner for that matter, he never imposes a western modified version of our food and that alone is a testament to his humble personality. Big fan.

山さん is very popular here in JP and he is known for being kind and gentle besides the first impression of the giant scary dude. If you understand Japanese and the culture, you can pick up some feedback from Yama san that the translations aren’t capable of express. From the choice of words to the facial expressions you can see that he really liked all of the food but some truly impressed him. That comes from a person that’s used to have high quality food all the time. The colab was awesome and thanks to the good work Nick does those kinds of special moments are possible. Keep it up!

Dude Nick this is so awesome I love this
