Rockstar Games is currently a shadow of their former self. This half of the series focuses on the Rockstar that casts that shadow.

This is Part 3 of my 4 part Rockstar Games series. Part 1 and 2 are "Every Single Problem" Featuring Mutahar, Trip, and The Professional. The last two parts share the theme: "Every Great Thing About Rockstar Games" and this half of the series features you, my viewers!

Despite Rockstar being a laughingstock with their money hungry schemes lately, you gotta admit, they gave us some of the greatest games from our childhood
  • @foodwich2132
Legitimately surprised John Marston didn't get any love at all. He's by far my favourite Rockstar character so quite surprised him and RDR1 itself didn't get any love in this video.
  • @Yngdady
No one even talked about Mike Toreno. He ended up being the greatest help for CJ and James Woods did such a good job on the character

    Man,that beginning montage… When Claude said “…” I felt that ;-;
  • @opizzaa8285
0:56 Claude popping up and having nothing to say gets me everytime, I love the little jokes you put in your videos. I might just make a 2nd acc so I can subscribe to you again

Now people are starting to notice that it wasn't just the company that made the games, it was the people that work on them. Thanks to corporate greed, those people are gone and they will never be replaced. Soon every company just like this will go under and the people that left these companies behind them will carry on their legacy.

You didn’t even mention the incredible DLCs Rockstar released. To this day Undead Nightmare for Red Dead will be my favourite expansion to a game. It completely changed how the game played out whilst adding an entirely new story for John allowing us to go back an see fan favourite characters we’ve learnt to love from the main story.

For me Arthur Morgan is the best protagonist in video game history because Dan Houser, the other writers and Roger Clark did a perfect job at making him someone you can sympathise with and making him feel like a real character and your there alongside him, watching his life play out. Not only that but Roger is a great guy in general. He's very patient with fans, he loves to communicates with fans, he's happy to talk to people about their problems and tries to make it clear that theres more than just voice acting when it comes to video game characters. Rockstar not only created the perfect protagonist they found the perfect guy to play him and it's another example of Rockstar doing good for the world. Also Niko and Michael are my favourite GTA protagonists for similar reasons.

I remember when I was arguably too young for these games, and I played GTA Vice City in a friends home, I would put myself an hour limit 'cause when I played too much I would end up so pumped up with it that I had issues to sleep later in the night. It was a terrific but incredibly enjoyable feeling just being dumb in such a great sandox.

Really makes you wonder what happened. R* used to be a venerable dream factory. I remember I was "too young" for GTA, so I got Bully instead. To this day, I can still recall the names to most of the students.

Rockstar watches only this video: Wow! Thank you for being such a long time fan! We're always making the highest quality games and content for our fans...

This video is an amazing look at the near-masterpieces that Rockstar made in the past vs what they've put out over the past five years or so. I even got a bit emotional at the beginning showing two of Rockstar's most beloved characters finally realizing that they were both stuck in gangs and wanted out but you know the thing with gangs is they don't like turning loose someone who has insider information
  • @MegaMjjordan
I loved Claudes quote in the beginning. Touching, Inspiring. All that good stuff
  • @FrancoCornalo
I cried almost the entire video. it's sad to know that there will no longer be such endearing and iconic characters, vivid cities that remind us of the best gangster movie stories, and so much attention to detail that makes their games so immersive. I'd like Dan and Leslie to see this video, just so they know how grateful we are for the art they did.

I promise you're not the only one who loved GTA 4's car physics. The way the car lurches to the side when you come swinging around a corner is so reminiscent of old 70s and 80s chase scenes to me, especially when you see the suspension jiggle around. Cars feel weighty and dangerous. I even prefer not being able to control my car in the air, unlike how you can somehow magically tilt your entire vehicle while airborne in GTA 5. One other thing is GTA 4's motorcycles feel tangibly different, and you can more easily be knocked off than in 5. In 5 it feels like your player character is glued to the seat and feels all stiff. And seeing your character launch out of the front windscreen is still one of my favorite things ever.

Rockstar from 2009: "We're looking for the best people out there, with passion and dedication to their job. Love what you do, show the strongest work, we only hire the best!" Rockstar from 2022: "We're looking for people who can do a poor job without any dedication or passion in our new project, GTA: Defective Edition."

Not to mention, that San Andreas had 2 player mode. Incredible 🔥
  • @g-man9988
I have so many great memories with GTA San Andreas not only was it the first GTA I'd ever played its hands down my favorite Grand Theft Auto of all time
