Lyrics:
The kings of the earth
Have done the work
Destroying dharma
Abandoning seeds
Wandering lost
In doubt and delusion
Eyes fixed on the bull
Limping around
Reduced to one leg
Beasts among men
Snuffing the righteous out
Pour the bowl into the air
Can we find our way back?
I’m losing my sanguine view
Will there be any light left?
Nothing here but madness
Never found your niche
Revel in your sadness
You belong in a ditch
Show me how you’re breaking me down
Tell me that it’s good for my health
Things will never be the same
Or close to what you knew
Tell yourself you found a way out
Lie and say you’re different now
But I’ll never forget the way your turned your back on me
Generations built by the bricks of a soulless maze
Apathetic empires setting the world ablaze
Propaganda forcing our values to be misaligned
Always remember, the center is intertwined
I’m not scared of dying, I’m not giving in
There’s hope in forgiveness for the monsters we’ve been
No one is spotless, no one’s exempt
I gave all I had and now I’m fucking spent
Show me how you’re breaking me down
Tell me that it’s good for my health
Things will never be the same
Or close to what you knew
Tell yourself you found a way out
Lie and say you’re different now
But I’ll never forget the way your turned your back on me
Say that I’m the enemy now
Go on tempting fate
Karmically a treason
Say that I’m the enemy now
Fabricate your place
Detach yourself from reason
Say that I’m the enemy now
But I’m the only one on your side
I’m still waiting
For you to wake up
I’m still waiting
For you to wake up
Tell me when it’s over
I can’t bare to look away
I need to discover
A new mantra to convey

-
This might be my favorite track on the album
-
That outro is synced so perfectly wish it would've went longer

Can't listen to this song without crying. Nevermind the beautiful beginning part with the three-legged Dharma bull. The "still waiting for you to wake up" makes me think of Sri Vishnu Yantra from To Speak To Listen, at the end of Andrew's spoken word part he says "Wake up" and in general their vocals just touch something in me with this song. It's also perfectly followed by my favorite song on the album.

The first few seconds of the opening riff reminds me of the opening riff from hidden worship

Banger !
-
Ever since I noticed that the guitar at 1:05 sounds like the Jerma teacher noise I haven't been able to unhear it
-
So when is Andrew's wife permanently joining the band?
-
Anybody know who the girl is that's singing?
