A full review of the main features and functions of the new DJI Air 3, walking through the dual camera and listing what I see as the pros and cons of this new model from DJI. I go through the sensor size, what you get in the full Air 3 RC 2 Combo Package and why I think it's a good drone to buy. I do a first flight test, showing the APAS Obstacle Avoidance Mode in Bypass & Brake mode, and go through the main safety settings when first flying the drone. I take it for its first flight and show the incredible speed of this new drone including a fastest speed, fastest ascent and fastest descent speed test and a small wind test. And then I go through the main points on why I bought this drone.

You chose the right word, Ian—EXHILARATING! That is my feeling when flying the Air 3 which I have had now for 8 days. Mini 2. Mini 3 Pro. And now the Air 3. They all fly well, but the power of the Air 3 by comparison nearly gives a feeling of whiplash. I owe much to you for what you have taught me beginning with the Mini 2. Great video , I do feel your ones are a lot more genuine rather then other YouTubes which are clearly sponsored or giveaways . Were they clearly trying to avoid some of the small negatives when comparing to previous models etc etc . I look forward to seeing some of your next videos . Personally for me at the moment due to UK laws I will be sticking to the Mavic 3 pro . as it falls into the same category ...

Great video and I think a great drone, I love spotlight and waypoints and the compression you get with the zoom Lens , the A2cofc unlocking the restrictions for bigger drones is great, only 5m separation in cinematic mode so not too different to the mini 3.

I’m enjoying my new Air 3! The battery is fantastic compared to my Air 2s and the signal strength is PHENOMENAL!! Did some testing this morning and I got over half a mile more range than I do with the Air 2s before I lose connection. For context I’m flying around my city area and my home is surrounded by trees. I get around 2500 ft before losing signal with my Air 2s and I’m getting almost 5000ft before losing signal with the Air 3

Hi Ian, I had my Air 3 delivered last week and what with work and crap weather, I have not managed to have a proper flight, apart from a couple of take offs and landings in my small garden, just to test it out! Even though the sensor is the same as the Mini 3 Pro, which I am now selling.. as long as I can get past all the scammers! It is enhanced and all the footage I have seen of it looks amazing! Can't wait for my first flight. The Isle of Wight can be very windy so I'm PATIENTLY waiting for a safe first flight! Look forward to your next test vids! love your channel, honest and down to earth! 🙂
