I've had huge problems getting this mix to sound the way I want and I'm still not really happy with it, but I've been sitting on this for long enough as it is. I also had this cool idea for the intro section where the rhythm guitars would play kind of what the brass is doing but it just sounded terrible no matter what I did so I had to give up on it. :(
Unlikely Identity this isn't a straight-up cover, but even in this song I'm hesitant to screw around too much with the source material. I'm not sure I'll do much more SSH because of this, it's not very fun when I lack the courage to go off the rails too much. We'll see.

Well, if this doesn't prove the Earth is round, I don't know what will. I've been a big fan of S.S.H for a long time now, but I mainly listened to their Touhou content, and somehow stumbled across this channel that's outside my usual Touhou-sphere. S.S.H's one of the few Touhou metal circles that are still active, despite being older than most active circles nowadays. Lots of metal circles has disbanded over the years, so now I'm pretty starved for metal arrangements. S.S.H, Demetori, IRON ATTACK! and CROW'SCLAW are the only old guards that are still around I think. This is the first time I see someone aside from me who actively praises S.S.H, it's actually pretty refreshing. I'm still in the process of binging your content, but so far they're absolute fire. Looking forward to see more of your works. May the Algorithm god bless you with bountiful subscribers.

This sounds like an SNK fighting game song for either their next cool protag or a destined match (fights like Iori vs. Kyo or Terry vs. Geese), and that's high praise.

I know how you feel, man. It can be a real drag when you're scared to tamper with a piece you really like and respect. It can definitely make it difficult to pop your own flair into said piece. That being said though, I think you did a pretty rad job covering this one. I think your additions fit pretty well and it's always nice to hear different songs with different timbres. So, yeah. Kudos, man, and here's to more great tunes from ya'!

How didn't I see this awesome mix for 4 weeks is beyond me. I had to live 4 full weeks without this! Just listen to 02:45, oooohh dear god it's oozing with groove. You are beast, McKnuckle. Speaking of beasts, this was also a 4 week delay on my reminder for music remix request of the Amiga games known as Shadow of the Beast series.
