Geometry Dash works so well as a platformer game imo. It's really fun trying to beat a hard level or going for WR and the controls are really good. Congrats on beating the level GG!

read the description here is my DIAGONAL TUTORIAL (at least what i do) for the upwards ones i usually just line up between the 2 spikes so i dont have to time anything, and for the downwards ones i fulljump and press forwards at a certain time (it's like, a bit before you touch the ceiling i think) in the case where it's Just a downwards diagonal i still generally do the same thing, and if for the upwards ones lining up between the spikes is awkward for whatever reason, be it required distance/speed or like any other odd formation, or if i just want to go faster and skip lining up precisely, i just stand at a point (generally where the robot is a Not visually touching the bottom spike) and press jump and forward at the same time. i find this extremely awkward when its both an upwards and downwards one in one jump so i only do this for isolated upwards diagonals pretty sure the timings slightly vary on .5x/1x speed and its completely arbitrary what the level creator sets it to so just adjust a bit based on that this strat completely reduces double diagonals into literally a single directional press timing. if my wording was confusing or youre unsure theres plenty of examples of me doing this in my iwbtg wr which there is a video of on my channel ! it WAS on 2.200 physics but im certain they function the exact same, deceleration doesnt matter here

Big congrats on doing this, hopefully as time goes on diagonals in gd will become easier for you, also im sorry that the boss bugged for you, though im glad that it didnt take you as long to rebeat after the bugfix, and idk about you, but when i try hard platformer levels like this i think they’re gonna be too hard and unfun but when i actually play them theyre not lol, also if you want another hard fangame inspired platformer level check out “the gus needle” its a recreation of a fangame called “i wanna be the gus needle” and it looks like its a very accurate recreation, also considering you seem to be enjoying fangame levels in gd you should probably try playing some actual fangames cause i think youd really enjoy them, but anyway ggs again on the level, GL with future endeavors!
