I became obsessed with Red Dead Redemption 2 and Rockstar Games after I got into Red Dead Online last year, and so I've been working on some videos all about them. This one is a little different than my usual videos, but the next one will be a lot more familiar. I really hope you enjoy it, and thanks for watching

Something about “BILL IS GAY” popping on the screen all of a sudden was hilarious to me.

Personally I think Hosea found his own redemption in helping Abigail escape the Pinkertons. There’s a lot of parallels in both Arthur and Hosea’s stories. In game they can both be found having conversations about their lives as outlaws, how Abigail sees Hosea as a father figure, and how Hosea wants Abigail to take Jack and leave the life. Abigail also avenges Hosea by killing Milton, similar to how John kills Micah. Hosea is also seen having coughing fits, and talks about he wants to make sure the people in his life are safe before he dies.

It's a little thing, but "John is Jack's father, but they might not be blood related" was a very thoughtful way to put that.

The Uncle dying during production level really got me. Brings a whole new level of respect to his character I never had before. Now I can look at him other than a drunk who’s terminally ill with Lumbago.

Arthur’s son dying would just make the whole game depressing

Really like the nuance in "John IS jacks father, we just don't know if theyre blood related" is sweet, because no matter genetics, being a father is a role, and that was Johns. He got to be a father. Genetics be damned.
  • 5:14 I love the way John says "Just seems familiar" because John is familiar with death having killed many in his life as an outlaw from a very young age.
  • 8:23 before you start the mission “a short walk in a pretty town” you can hear micah saying that bill looks good and he gets shy 😂 you can see how much detail they put in this game its amazing

I really hope this becomes a running series. Your style fits the iceberg structure perfectly.
  • This is a really nice change of pace than your usual content. It still has your signature style which is cool!

I feel like “Green Eyes” could’ve been a teaser to a second Undead Nightmare
  • would be cool if they'd occasionally update single player and add to these mysteries

It's sad that Guarma got nerfed so hard. R* did an amazing job capturing the beautiful view and at the same time keeping that scary and alien feeling. I hoped to see more of it or at least revisit the area.

"Red Dead Redemption Mysteries" BILL IS GAY That got a good laugh out of me. Great video, Guru!
  • I don’t know if anyone else has noticed but the voice for uncle’s last name is a lake up in the northern part of map, it’s the exact lake where you can do all of hamish Sinclair’s stranger missions and where you meet him. Just a really nice tribute to the man who will forever be cherished by the community

I do think at a certain point in the early development they tinkered with the idea of playing as Arthur, Sadie, and Charles, later switching to John. Though I think they realized this would have impacted the story they wanted to tell and scrapped it early on.
  • the New Bordeaux thing is interesting because it's the name of the New Orleans equivalent city in Mafia III; the Mafia series is owned by 2K Games, the sister publisher of Rockstar Games. Mafia 3 was released in October 2016 so I'm guessing development overlapped between the two games and someone made a phone call to the other asking them to change the names.
  • i remember the green eyes one. that little random house abandoned with the childs rocking horse and the family dead on or near the dinner table... laying on the floor dead with green eyes... everyone (myself included) thought it was hinting at undead nightmare 2.... would've been sick if it were true

It’s so hard for me to go through a real low honor play through with lore like the strange man. It just feels more meaningful. I’m not complaining, It shows how glorious their design is. Anyone agree?
