I finally found the perfect place to build the ultimate car guy compound. Tons of car parts, tools, and a motorcycle were left behind. So today we're going to sort through everything, throw a ton of stuff away, and start cleaning things up. A new house, a new shop, and a place to build cars better than ever before... but the house has some strange secrets of it's own.

Common Questions:

What motorcycle do I ride? A few. Ducati 1198, Honda Goldwing, Honda Grom, Honda Ruckus

What do I do for a living? Make YouTube videos.

Can you wheelie? No, I suck.

Are you fast? Sort of. I suck mostly though.

Where can I keep up with you off the bike?

Facebook: WatchJRGo (or JRGo, FB hates my branding)

Do you go to school? College, for 2 classes.

Why do you ride so dangerously? What do mean? I was doing 25.

Do you go to the track? Of course, hopefully there will be videos in the future.

Do you play video games? No, but I might stream N64 Goldeneye at some point. Twitch: WatchJRGo

Are you afraid the police will watch your videos and arrest you? Something something evidence something something warrants and due process of law

Why not just run the dryer vent into the attic and out of the roof? Happens alot nowadays on new construction

Washer dryer combo is a great idea! Plus, you'll get an extra video when you undo that great idea.
  • I have had an HGTV bath remodel… we were done with demo of a 1950’s remodel in a 1918 house and down to the studs in a neighboring bathroom - completely swept and vacuumed up everything in the dumpster in less than two hours. $50K bathroom, figured out during demo the sill plate of the house was rotting, jacked up the house, ripped out the rotted wood and replaced with new and added a small Trex deck off the back of the house. The demo and complete rebuild took less than five days. Of course I had guys working in my house until 11:30 PM off camera and the plumber walked in the door six hours later… it was a crazy week.

It is so much fun to take a bathroom built in the 50’s or 60’s down to the studs and redesign and rebuild it to your needs. This ALMOST makes me want to buy a house and redo it like i did with my current house…..the key word is ALMOST!👍👍😁

LG washer dryer combo is a great try but if the load is over 3/4 full it takes forever to dry and the sensor dry function will run for hours. After load ends, it is very humid inside and everything still feels moist.

JR, I've got one of the GE all in one heat pump washer dryers and it's amazing. Anyone that is complaining about it not doing your clothes enough isn't using it correctly. When the clothes come out they feel humid but after a good shake or once they are the same temperature as the surrounding air they are just as dry.
  • Why was the wall behind the mirror hollow? Was it a 2 way mirror? Maybe Hugh Hefner was charging his friends a dollar to watch his wife bathe.

Recently stayed in a home with a steam shower, best shower ever!

As I have demoed several “bathrooms”, it never fails to make me befuddled as to what, in the hell they were thinking? And plumbing code, who the hell needs that?😂 but seriously some people should definitely look into the code.

Flipped a 1921 house. Took up 7 layers of bathroom flooring only to find rotted floor joists. Back when 2” x 6”’s were actually 2” x 6”

Eric in the zone again 😮
  • If you think you demoed that bathroom fast you should see how fast a tornado can do it. Sulphur Oklahoma destroyed.

Finally! Been looking forward to more demo content

It's a house, there are always problems, but you're busy fixing all the issues and making major upgrades. It's going to be awesome when done and hopefully you have enough room to expand has your projects and business gets bigger again.

I love when tubs have the fill spout ceiling mounted!
