My name is Robert Łajka. In 2021, I appeared as an episodic and extra in the Netflix series: Barbarians 2.
My character was called "Ballomar - Marcomann Warrior" (I was not mentioned in the credits).

The original series is about the struggle of Germanic tribes such as Marcomanni, Cherusci, Marsi, Brukteri, ... against the Roman Empire
In this clip, I focused on the most important threads, such as the betrayal of Arminius and the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest, fought in the autumn of 9 AD between the Germanic tribes led by Arminius and the ambushed three Roman legions (XVII, XVIII, XIX), led by Publius Quinctilius Varus, and on the continuation of this fight in the following years, including with Germanicus, and tribal clashes.
Historical facts in the original series are quite loosely shown, but such laws are governed by modern film...

Die Varus-Schlacht ist ein Teil der deutschen Geschichte. In Detmold steht das Hermannsdenkmal. Es erinnert an den germanischen Krieger, der alle Stämme vereinte, um die römische Invasion zu zerschlagen. Der Song passt wunderbar.
