  • For hot corners I recomend: Top-Left: Start Screen Saver (or Lock Screen) Bottom-Left: Launchpad Top-Right: Mission Control Bottom-Right: Disable Screen Saver (or Quick Note)

About the app dock - I like to hide it for even more screen real estate, it comes up when you drag the mouse to screen edge or press shortcut. Also TopNotch, for those who want to mentally get rid of the notch

Thank you so very much. My very first MacBook so I really needed this. Most helpful 👌🏾

A lot of good information thanks Greg. One thing Greg said (he must not work in an office setting) because he talked about extending the lock time for someone that is in security you do not want to do this. You should always lock your computer when you leave and having a shorter time is good in case you forget to lock it.
  • First: accelerate the trakpad (and mouse) to the maximum speed (pro level) and if it's too fast move it a little slower Settings->Trackpad->Tracking Speed
  • You have broken the illusion for me that you’re extremely organized. Thanks for this helpful information.
  • het Greg just found your video, i was wondering how you can customise your folders when using stacks to group certain folders together instead of it being lumped together. Also being able to now finally customise your folders is a game changer, I've been wanting to do this for a very long time 😃

I'm looking forward to using some of the custom settings when my new 14" MBP M3Pro arrives next Friday! Thank you for the informative video!

Thanks for this! I just picked up my first Mac and this was so helpful...must say...this thing is INCREDIBLE. I am IN LOVE. I got the M3 Max 16 inch, which is WAY more PC than I need, but I will keep it for years and years and it will take forever to outgrow. I now understand the Apple obsession. No more making fun of you guys!!

I found the Finder really unhandy to do same files management than Windows Explorer. Do you Mac guys have any 3rd tools to suggest for me? Thanks!
  • @Urosaurus
Thanks, I don't see the more space option available. 14.2.1.

Interesting. New macbook but it seems like it drops fps in animations quite noticeably
  • @phire4694
The sad part about the hills with flowers wallpaper is that all the yellow is invasive mustard 😓
  • @SwissPGO
Don't use a wallpaper, and certainly not the animated one: it's taking up memory and cpu cycles, and if you're remoting into the machine, or screen sharing, then all that movement will definitely kill the remote desktop experience or screen sharing session. I always use a simple constant color.

Before browsing you have to turn on the firewall. It’s off by default. This should be on your top 5 suggestions. 🥴
