that scream at the beginning was a cultural reset Edit: coming back 3 years later and damn y’all taking “cultural reset” way too literally or taking offense by it in the comments or insinuating that i was saying this song isn’t popular anymore (when it is) 😭 the “pop” (pop as in, twitter/stan lingo) definition of it just means it was iconic in its time and still is now. my parents are immigrants so I was raised listening to music that aligned with my culture, I didn’t listen to or was even aware of rock or screamo music in the slightest. flyleaf was the first band that impacted my music taste to this day, which is why I said it was a cultural reset FOR ME.
