  • I went to a Japanese Steakhouse and I spoke with my waiter about my dietary restrictions and she went to talk to the chef about my options. The chef came out, spoke to me about all my needs, and cooked me a scrumptious meal especially for me! It has been so many years now, I can't remember what I ate, but I remember it was good! 😁

Happy I found this video. I travel for work and didn’t realize I could bring food on the plane

I just spent 5 weeks in Oaxaca Mexico and was amazed at how open the restaurants were to preparing oil free vegan meals for me. They also had a totally oil free vegan restaurant there. Also the meals were delicious. If at almost any restaurant I could ask for rice and veggies or black beans if the beans were not cooked in fat.

Yeah I learned from working in a restaurant that you can make up basically whatever you want. Lol learning this definitely helped me out when having to create a vegan friendly dish at a restaurant! It’s as simple as noticing a dish has black beans so you see a different dish you want that has chicken so you ask them to swap out the chicken for black beans.

Great video. I’m 64, been vegetarian most of my life, went vegan about 5 years ago, gluten free for 3. Eating out often is a challenge, so I don’t do it that much. I always pack my own food, water. Never thought about the mini-blender. Definately going to check that out. Thanks
  • @marlaaah
AirBnB for sure! Love having a kitchen when I travel!
  • @maggielogan9309
I love your videos. I have the added bonus of having Celiac. So when I travel I get so stressed out to find gluten free vegan options. Thanks for your tips. Maybe you can do a gluten free vegan travel tip video. 🙂 Btw I just got back from Italy and ate their pasta and pizza with no problems. I was in heaven.

This was great because eating out can definitely be a challenge ✨😉✨
  • @KathleenGage
Outstanding tips. When I travel, I check ahead of time where there are grocery stores. I will often check in, unpack, put on my running clothes and run to the store. I uber back with enough plant based food to last my entire trip.
  • Great tips : ) thanks for the tip on Happy cow as well. I will be checking that out.
  • This is the best travel tip I found! I’m traveling now and this was a great help. 😊
  • @Sweetnatural79
Great video! Very informative. Will be leaving for a family trip tomorrow and I have almost everything you suggested on hand. I was initially concerned about maintaining my plant based lifestyle while traveling, but after watching your video I’m actually excited and looking forward to it! Thank you!😊Also, you two make a great team!
  • @LollysGarden
Thank you so much for this video! Its just what we needed to prepare for our upcoming trip. Thank you for providing the link to TSA also that answered all my question. I feel like a huge weight has now been lifted of my chest. We are going to have food! WFPB Vegan meals and have a wonderful time on our vacation.
  • These are some great tips ! A lot of these already i already knew because I had to learn them on my road trip to Texas .Subway was my best friend , I got the veggie Delight with no cheese and extra vegetables on one of their whole grain breads.
  • @Accessthepower
Great video. Very helpful. I’m going on my first road trip with my work. I was nervous and thought I would be eating Lara bars or lettuce only salads. But I won’t. Yay!
  • @catfish9539
Lol I've been watching you for so long, I'm just rewatching a few but it seems so strange to watch a video without Maxy in now!!
  • Perfect video! About to go to the beach. Already planning ahead and finding vegan restaurants and organic grocery for fruits and veggies.
