Never declaw any cat. It's cruel. If your sofa is more important than a living member of your family rethink your life.

I’m a Russian Blue cat mom. He’s very low maintenance, very independent, was never destructive, very affectionate and is a talker, especially when it’s time to eat. He cuddles with me every night and has been an emotional support.

Never declaw any cat. Declawing is cruel. Russian Blues are great fun cats

My Russian blue is my soulmate <3 He is the most gentle sweet boy ever. I've had him for 12 years and he has never even tried to scratch anyone. Just likes to follow me around, watch what I do, and play every now and then.

I am not a Russian Blue cat "owner". She is my family, my best friend, my comic relief! She's amazing and I didn't even know she was a Russian Blue until 3 weeks after I adopted her! 💙 She is 5 months old and soooo incredibly CUTE!!! I love everything about her 🥰
  • I adopted a Russian Blue last year at the age of 7. She was a Rescue from the Humane Society. She came with chronic respiratory problems and needs a puffer every 12 hours. At the beginning she was hiding for 2 weeks and came only out for food and the litter box. Now, she follows me everywhere sleeps in my bed, greets my friends at the door, but even with vet prescribed food I can't get her to loose weight. 🤔. I love her to bits and pieces and understand her wishes, her needs and she has trained me well. The best thing I did was adopting her ♥️

For whatever reason, my russian blue LITERALLY TRAINS MY ENTIRE FAMILY TO BE WITH ME. She learned how to open the one door that is specific to my room. She always meows more loudly when my dad is home since he opens the door for her when she yells enough. Hell, she's recently learned that, by meowing like she wants to get out (but not going out), she just gets free pets from me! I love this damn cat! She's so absurdly smart, and uses that smartness to be the literal best cat I will ever have. She only does this with me, and usually gets most affectionate when I'm going to bed.
  • MY FIRST BLUE WAS 18 WHEN SHE DIED IN MY ARMS N I CRIED LIKE A LIL BOY! SHE LOVED ME RIGHT BACK N WAS EXTREMELY PROTECTIVE OF ME OF ANYONE N EVERYONE UP TO N INCLUDING BOTH SIDES OF THE FAMILIES!!! SHE WAS MY BABY GIRL!! MISS YOU MINGSU!
  • I have a six year old Russian blue named Smokey. One of the best things to come into my life and one of the smartest cats I have ever known.

We live bbn in a mobile home park. Someone moved and left a 3 month old female Russian blue to fend units own. Very sad as cats are not disposable. We have her now! Named Sasha, so loving and smart! Vet says great health! Very happy to have her in the family!! Landlord is trying to track previous owner as he is a abid cat person and does not tolerate people abandoning cats or kittens.
  • I’d wanted a Blue Russian cat for many years. I got one last spring. He is fabulous and has been attached to me since the ride home from across town. He’s very cool, loves to sleep in the bed and not too destructive.

My wife and I just recently lost our 16 year old male Russian blue and my heart is still broken. I have never owned a cat like him..he was my tv watching partner and he slept against my legs at night. I miss him so much. We are currently looking for a rb kitten as we speak. His name was fiddy and oh how he loved his chicken. He would follow me from the time I got home from work till he jumped in bed with us.

  • My mixed domestic shorthair gray russian blue cat ran away and never returned. My mom truly miss him. My brother adopted a 1 year old russian blue momma cat for my mom’s bday. She cried when we welcomed our new cat a place to stay. Never declaw their sharp nails.
