Music and sound are undeniably a cornerstone of Apple’s brand, as demonstrated with their dedication to music starting with iPod in 2001, the iTunes Store in 2003, and even their recent releases like Apple Music, AirPods, and HomePod. However there’s one other tech-music company that might come to mind, and that of course is Beats Electronics. Beats recently celebrated their twelve year anniversary, and during that time, they’ve changed the way audio devices like headphones and speakers are marketed, and made significant contributions to the music streaming industry.

I bought the beats studio 3 only because they $100 off. They’re alright and sound pretty good, but definitely not worth $350. Bose and Sony make much better headphones. I first bought the Bose qc 35 ii and returned them because they were giving me really bad headaches. I wasn’t used to the cabin pressure. I had them for a week but I couldn’t adapt to that cabin pressure. However, I might want to get Sony 1000x m3.

This brought back so much nostalgia. The summer of 2012 was awesome and I remember watching the Olympics, specially basketball, and seeing the headphones on the players.

I've never liked Beats headphones. They are over priced in my eyes and sound muddy. But, they did innovate in a several ways and thankfully we are being rewarded for their efforts.

I got a pair of Beats solo3's free when I bought a MacBook. While they're not the best set of headphones I've ever listen to, they're not bad for something I got for free.

When it comes to high quality audio, Beats has never ever matched up against the likes of Sony and Bose.
