Black Manta is the arch-nemesis of Aquaman. In the comics, he has no family, and he obsessed with becoming Atlantis’s new king. He created a pressurized combat suit that allows him to survive in the depths of the ocean, and be able to fight Aquaman. Also, Aqualad, Aquaman’s sidekick, is Black Manta’s son.
