Hi friends! This is looking more and more likely that Beryl is coming to Texas. If the storm gets strong quick after the Yucatan...north Texas and Southwest Louisiana are in play for landfall. If it gets stronger at the very end (I think will happen for reasons mentioned in video) more like southeast Texas...CC to Rockport area for biggest impacts. Worst of the storm is northeast loaded. If you are along the Texas coast you should take the weekend to prepare...maybe even for something stronger than what is currently forecast. Be safe! - Jonathan
  • Good luck Texas. I am British, but I lived and worked in Houston for 7 years, so I know the people and have good friends there, I care about - so please take those precautions, folks!

South Louisiana here. I've seen enough hurricanes. May the Lord protect every soul in its path.

Wow Beryl just jumped north off the peninsula. Texas needs to get ready.
  • Hey, brother, thank you for your reporting!!! I'm from Houston and the description of the probability of Beryl making landfall near Corpus Christi and Rockport is very reminiscent of the path Harvey took in 2017!!! Praying that this is NOT a repeat of that!!!!

Man, we just finished Hurricane Laura repairs at our house in Lake Charles about 6 months ago. Please no severe weather.
  • Good reporting. Much appreciated. Texas native here. Been through every Hurricane since Alicia in 83'. Best time to get to know your neighbors and BBQ.

Word from my friends in the Yucatan is that it came ashore and sort of broke apart. Prayers for NE Mexico, Texas and Louisiana!
  • Neither under estimate a Hurricance or Tropical Storms🌀 Thank You for Informative Weather Statistics 👍🙏
  • I'm in Rockport, Texas, and this will be my first hurricane to experience. We're making plans to leave if we need to.

Long Island Village Port Isabel. Must say thanks for getting this to us!
  • Jonathan, 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Thanks sooooo much for ur layman explanations - weather is fascinating to me but most of the time I just can't grasp why it does what it does - ur helping me understand. I was concerned about what was out there to keep Beryl going west/northwest and not just moving straight north up to SW La - and u showed us what is happening for now. I'm definitely listening to u and I'm still in alert mode. God's protection for those in the path of Beryl and God's healing for those who already went thru Beryl. God's blessings to u Jonathan. 🙏🏻🤗🙏🏻

I live between San Antonio and Austin, TX. I have a lot of friends in Corpus all the way to Beaumont TX. I wish you would update more frequently right now. I very much enjoy your narrative. I think Beryl is a wildcard and will hit at no less than Cat 2.
