Russ, a full length video would be appreciated as NativeCAM can be a pain to install.

  • I think a full length video would be great on the new software.

Nice job! I'll be waiting for full video about your configuration. Can you make a detailed video about your lathe modifications? I want to buy a small chinese lathe and then I'll make a cnc lathe from it.
  • Saludo cordial. Gracias por compartir. Que tipo de targeta utilizas? Es posible conexión por USB?
  • Ohhhhh yess!!! Isn’t native cam a conversational interface? Yeah I’m still learning how to install Linux CNC! I’ve got a raspberry pie I want to run it on but I’m having trouble getting it on there lol

I like that your VFD came to a really quick stop. I'm using a TECO l510 on my G0602 and it's NOTHING like that. What's you motor/power/VFD?
  • @darkobul1
How much did you drop down tool post from original position to be able to use those large tools?
  • @rbyt2010
Would also be curious about your 2.8 install. Gotcha's? Debian, Ubuntu, Mint, other? Thanks for this.
  • @bobanppvc
Do you reccomend converting lathe to cnc or buying cnc lathe? It looks like a lot if job to do conversion
  • @jacewalton6677
Just installed 2.8 and cannot get nativecam working. I installed it the way that fernV said to do it but I see no nativecam tab. Plez halp!

Maybe I missed something but it looked like z returned to 4" and x to 2"
