This song can make me sob my eyes out. (It is as I write this). It's actually a lovely gift when something beautiful like this draws the sadness out of you. Like drawing out a poison, the tears flow and you are perhaps cleansed by it.
  • I remember discovering this song on a drive home a few days weeks after my first breakup. At the time my music taste was very bland. I had just recently broke out of a strict religious group i had grown up in and we weren’t allowed to listen to secular music. I remember hearing it for the first time and wanting to reach out to her and share this beautiful song. This song brings back alot of nostalgia.

This is a majestic piece of art. It captures the fleeting nature of being alive.

This song makes me feel so weird man i swear its like I wanna cry but I don't know what for. It's not tears of sadness or joy but like a type of melancholy or feeling of missing someone or something. So odd, but please keep making music that makes me feel new emotions lol.

I miss my best friend. We used to listen to this album from beginning to end. On a CD. On a old boom box covered with stickers. There are no skips here. 💜
  • A sad song you can listen to without developing the overwhelming desire unalive yourself. I dig it.

We all need to just chill out listen to good music . Everyone needs to remember to love one another. Help each other. This is the last chance we may ever have to save our selves and our home. Great album.❤😊

If the end of the world had a credit scene, this would be playing

This song and nearly every album from these guys helped carry my lastest novel. Big props to Beach House, their music is always sublime ❤

Lyrics: Drifting in and out You see the road you’re on It came rolling down your cheek You say just what you mean And in-between, it’s never as it seems Help me to name it Help me to name it If you built yourself a myth You’d know just what to give What comes after this? Momentary bliss? The consequence Of what you do to me Help me to name it Help me to name it Found yourself in a new direction Arrows falling from the sun Canyon calling, would they come to greet you Let you know you’re not the only one Can’t keep hanging on To what is dead and gone If you built yourself a myth You’d know just what to give Materialize Or let the ashes fly Help me to name it Help me to name it

This song feels like the physical manifestation of Bliss.
  • This is simply beautiful!!! Makes me teary eyed but also happy...such an amazing song!
  • When I was little, and sleeping in the living room with my brother, he’d beg to have this album playing while we slept. It always made me feel something I never liked, now I understand it, and I just, I don’t know anymore. So much has happened since then, long time relationships lost in an instant, heartache and bruises that still hurt. I still feel like a kid, I shouldn’t be having all this stupid shit be happening to me but it does. I don’t hate this song, this album like I did before, I understand it, and I accept it. I get it now. I get it now River, I understand what we felt.
