These trailers were better than the whole sequel trilogy

I love how someone said this was 100 years before Vader. No, it was 3700 years before Vader.

Darth Malgus remains one of my favorite Sith Lords of all time. His philosophy on the Force and how it’s conflict, and the fact he wants to become one with the dark side rather than asserting himself above it is truly fascinating and makes him an anomaly compared to other dark lords. Not to mention he doesn’t discriminate and actively goes against the Sith Empire and their laws against other aliens joining their ranks. There’s also a novel called “Deceived” that’s based on the events on the cinematic trailer of same name that’s really good and actually features the highly underrated Jedi: Aryn Leneer.

These trailers are peak SW content. The action is especially. It's got all the flair of the prequel fights but with better choreography than any of the live action stuff.

Malgus is different bro. Where Vader joined the Dark Side in order to save his wife, Malgus killed his wife to immerse himself FURTHER into the Dark Side. His wife was the Twilek woman who invaded the temple with him.

How do people not love Star Wars I do for all it’s lore

Malgus is without a doubt one of the hardest mf in all of Star Wars. The man made the entire galaxy his enemy and is still kicking

This was honestly great I’m glad Tai and some of chat enjoy these trailers man. Hope he does force unleashed or check out more cinematic stuff from games etc.

Just wanna point out real quick that when dude ran up with a knife, it was actually made with a mineral called cortosis which is resistant to lightsabers. A pure cortosis blade can actually overload a lightsabers power emitter and shut it off

This method was greatly frowned upon, and was almost never used by either the Sith or the Jedi. The Sith claimed that it showed weakness and demonstrated a lack of power, while the Jedi claimed that this form was unsportsmanlike.

I am more invested in Satele Shan after 2 minutes than Rey in over 3 hours. Badass Girl!

The twins and girl are all related and belong to the eternal empire which are neither sith or Jedi, they hunted both of them down to damn near extermination so the sith an Jedi team up to take them down and the dad is the siths old emperor. He used the sith as a plaything basically while the eternal empire was his main focus.

I remember seeing some of these as a little kid lol and I thought the game was actually like this. My disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined 💀

Sidious: Meticolously plans destryoing the Jedi for decades. Malgus: Pulls up with the boyz. 😂

Fun fact: After Malgus was buried under that mountain of rubble at the end of the Hope trailer, before receiving the surgery and implants that would save his life, he encountered two Jedi knights and bested them! Think Darth Vader, except increase the speed and give him Force Lightning. That's Darth Malgus, impossibly tough, highly skilled and fully committed to the idea of the Dark Side itself, so much so that he went against his own Empire.

Whoever in chat said this is 100 years before Vader actually dumb as hell. This is like 2000-3000 years before Vader.

Imagine if we got something anywhere close to these cinematics for the sequel trilogy. Would’ve blew people away bruh 😢
