the gunner trick does also work with the hurricane and bulldog (and pgl). it's just that they have less ammo to spend.

also there's another actual vid in the making but wanted to share this first

Be careful carving out terrain with the pipes. I think it's the only way to actually delete minerals

Driller main: good advice, any way (Heavy Drilling noise)

tape three pickaxes together to do it in one hit

I don't see enough people use C4 for excavating terrain, it seriously helps the team on stationary objectives.
  • Natural terrain can be useful at times too. For example, when excavating rock pillars in the sandblasted corridors, you can mine the sand at the base of them instead of the pillar. It’s the same principle as the bullet crater/platform technique
  • i didnt know about the thunderhead one, thats situationally pretty handy!

the engi one seems like a good way to quickly break the corestone crust, gotta try it someday
  • 2000 hours in and i never even considered the thunderhead technique. Seems old dogs can still learn new tricks lol. I used the engineer "cheese mining" as i call it, coupled with the refinery pipes technique, to dig out of map boundaries beyond the bedrock and compressed granite a few times before for lolz. Takes hours tho. But another tip you forgot to mention is cheese mining can also be used to level terrain, most ppl dont even realize this.
