Another little sub plot that stems from this is the coaching situation in philly. Chip Kelly, in spite of his offense so basic a child could see whats coming, had 2 winning seasons prior. It was controversial whether he should stay or not. Getting embarrassed by Kirk Cousins on TNF was the game that ended those talks. There was an overwhelming sentiment that they had screwed up with Andy Reid and they wanted another coach like that. Since andy was long gone the closest they could get was Doug Pederson. Something something carson wentz, and now they have another coach who calls inside zone out of the shotgun all day 🤷‍♀️
