My husband was in the Scots guards, I always felt proud to see him in his tunic uniform and on different ceremonies, plus how the little kiddies would look up to them...

I"ve seen so many YouTube videos recently of people being rude to the guards and their horses. Disgusting some of it, honestly! It is so nice to see this heartwarming video to more than balance the rudeness and ill-bred beaviour.

After the trooping, we generally get invited back to Buckingham Palace for a Garden Party with our families. It gives us a chance to catch up with old friends and have a natter with members of the Royal Family if you are lucky. As a Veteran, I still get the invites when it is The Blues & Royals turn.

Firstly he is the Garrison Sergeant Major of Grenadier Guards taking people through with BLUE passes to Trooping. I doubt if anyone is related to him there but just like the GSM of Coldstream Guards Andrew Vern Stokes, they are just nice guys.
